So true, me and my friends from kindergarten used to be close but in 3d grade a new girl started in our class so we let her into our friend group and we were like best friends and told everything to eachother. But the friend I was talking about in the beginning happened to live in the same apartment so slowly they started to get closer and stopped asking me to come.

I know that feeling all too well and give it a few years you'll find much better friends which will be your friends till death, I used to think I don't have friends or no one cares for me then, my true friends came and got me out of that thinking making me realize they were there I just didn't pay attention to them and they were willing to sacrifice everything for me so, I wanted to do the same this way we became best friends we are in college right now.
Oh yeah and we talked one day after school and I asked how old her siblings were and told me the youngest was 4. And I was like oh last time I was at your house he was 2. Now her little sister started kindergarten this year and I didn't expect her to remember me bc she hadn't seen me in 2 years, but when she saw me she said something like " oh Lova I haven't seen you in a long time" so I just said yeah trying to hold tears back.
It is also one of our greatest heartbreak as human beings where we choose to settle on people and never thought that they could change in an instant and you will be left alone clueless where did it all fell apart.
To all of you who have been betrayed, backstabbed, or just grew apart from a friend, I was always told when you lose one friend, eventually, you'll make two more. For the people who betrayed/backstabbed you, they don't deserve you. If you just grew apart, I think it'd be better to not just be upset about losing them, but to remember the times you had with them as happily as you can. I used to have a group of best friends. We were all inseparable. But I wouldn't be telling you this if we didn't grow apart. It helps that I remember the fun we had together, and the pain we went through together.
