Thankyou, he ended up winning in the last round, I was so gassed out from his pressure, he battered me hah. Knocked me down in the last seconds of the 8th and final round. Ill upload it soon.

Honestly, Harry is dominating here. his footwork, head movement and stance are all superior to his brother who just stands there welcoming body shots (at the beginning). red gloves seems to be going for a more hitman like stance with flicker jabs, but he's keeping too square and just isn't developed enough in the flicker jab yet to flourish. the only reason Harry took that left hook was because his brother used that lax stance at a prime time for a counter. the dropped arm hiding the oncoming hook, the proper distance for a lanky lad like himself, and the tendency Harry has to drop his right guard when firing his left (habits are hard to break once made) resulted in the down. maybe fight a little lighter, playfully. muay thai fighters, the comically scary ones everyone talks about, don't spar crazy hard. though it is fine to go hard once in a while, repeated light sparring with maybe 10% of force really helps development. fear doesn't rule, fun does. good work lads, keep at it.

He absolutely battered me this fight. Wait till I upload round 8 hah! The thing is I started boxing 2 months before him. And I taught him my self through watching UA-cam videos. Up to this 2nd fight we had spared 18 times, roughly 80ish rounds all together. The training sessions were based on making him better and barely anytime spent on what I should do since I would try to do that by my self.
I was always quite a bit better than him until around spar 14, where the gap started to close a bit. But even heading into this fight he'd admit I was still a lot better. One thing he did this fight which he had barley done in sparring was push me back and pressure me non stop. He hadn't done this so effectively in sparring and it completely baffled me in this fight. Compromising my stance, footwork and gas tank since this was the first time I was experiencing this pressure compared to in all the sparring leading up to this fight.
I was so confident I would win this fight, since leading up to it I had won most of the spars, and even the last spar before this fight I won quite convincingly and cracked him with multiple similar left hooks as the one I landed here. I remember saying to him before the fight, to throw more double jabs rather than singles, since I would always catch him with slip then right hand counters, also to fully extend his punches and to march me down. I would always tell him this also before our spars but he didn't always do it. But in this fight it all clicked for him and it was my downfall hah, since I didn't have enough experience against him actually pulling it off.
But it was the best thing to happen to me for my boxing to improve. It gave me a blueprint of all the things to work on. Smothering and pushing him back rather than constantly back peddling and circling. More feints, more bouncy on my feet with in and out movements. Next video I will upload a round from spar 19 (the one after this fight) and you will see the difference.

Also the reason we are going harder here is because its one of our fights we did once a year. We would spar roughly 10 times in-between them and it would be much lighter. Even in this fight the hard parts were spread out, it wasn't constant.

sounds like a great experience and further spars with this level of pressure will be a great help against swarmer fighters. it's good to see that you ended up feinting and breaking his rythm as a defence against this style. good work.@@GrowYourOwnGYO

oh good, it's always a worry that boxers on yt will go too hard as it kinda gets more views. it's good to hear you're keeping it sensible :)@@GrowYourOwnGYO

@@OtakubeePunpun Thanks, this was recorded 2 and a half years ago, so my style is completely different now. All the boxing footage I upload is at least 2 years old since that's when my bro stop boxing. I have loads of footage during the 2 years we boxed together (May 2020 - May 2022) which I'm slowly releasing.

wrong foot balance for jab or straight.
Jab is flat back foot, and the opposite for straight.
Fix that and get more power.

Just realised I read it wrong you meant our feet lifting off the ground when throwing punches my bad. That's just mistakes we make whilst fighting and being gassed out lol. When we trained we didn't do that, things just fall apart when we get gassed out during sparring.

Misleading to people who only grow green hah, to anyone else it will mean grow your own food. Although I did grow green for 3 years until I stopped smoking the start of this year.
