I listened to a guy named Dave Ramsey and learned that the way we live and what our priorities are can be changed a little bit so we can easily get out of being slaves. I did it.
It did take 2 incomes because my wife steadfastly refused to give up her new car every 6 yrs. I said if we can't afford to save/invest the same amount we spend on the car, with payments and insurance, then, no more new car for you.
So she was smart went to school got an accounting degree and we live frugally if you call buying a brand new car every 4 to 6 yrs frugal... lol.
We did it, we retired with enough investment so after age 62 we could retire and quite working.
So getting back to living longer, any longer then 60 yrs old and you can easily have enough saved and invested to do whatever you want and lead your own life the way you want without being a slave.
That does mean YOU have to take responsibility when your young and plan for that. It is not anyone else's fault if you refuse to do that.
You don't even need a "live longer pill" you can live the last 20 to 40 yrs of your life your way if you plan and work for it. If now I can take a pill and live to 150 yrs old, I would have a really good life because I would not have to work until I was 120 yrs old and be a slave to some company.
But if your like most people and want to spend everything you got then get all whiny because you got old and still got nothing.... your own fault and no one else's.
@@Patrick-y4d1z On the flip side of the point your making is this. No, 30 yr mortgages are not gonna just go away. So if your not a total dummy you can easily pay off your house invest and in 40 to 50 yrs be rich and then your choices open up as to how where and what to do vs what you had to do when you where young.
I'm not worth millions and I did just that. Do you know that the money it cost for a new car, what the payments are every month, that amount invested for 20 yrs makes you a million bucks or even more?

effect: anti-aging
side effect: cancerous
Antiaging usually means it lowers inflamation therefore less cancer.
We all have cancer as we speak, though not on a lethal rate and inevitably it will grow.
@@xalthzdornier4805 It is not inevitable if your immune system is optimal in working it wont cause issues. Cancer is caused by low immune function usually. Inflamation also cause low immune function if prolonged since due to overstimulation they lose function. The problem is old people has lower immune function their inflamation is higher and on top of that their bone marrows gets fatty.

Getting older is a privilege many dont get to experience. I know too many people who died before 30. You earned every wrinkle and gray hair. Rock it!💕
I don’t think it’s an a aesthetic thing, more like genuine prolonging of life, which is cool.
I’m sorry for the people whose lives were cut short.

This seems a bit like decentralising and commoditising the R&D process and product launching to get around animal testing.

I don’t want to live longer, living is the problem.
I'd not mind living longer. But at the same time I will accept when my time on this earth is done. Some people on other hand want to live an immortal life
"live longer" But not with this and not when the whole body bearly works in very Old age but hey we do not know how we are past 90 Years Old most do not get there.
Living at 25 for 25 years. I'll take it.
How old are you? Curious why you feel living is the problem. I may just agree with you, although I plan on living whatever years I am given to the fullest.
Guys, dont do drugs😂
So what happens when you reduce inflamation while you have an infection?
It's already here
That last bit just sounds to me that people will be forced to work 20 years more until they can retire if this is a thing someday.
They already exist

But this dude is just a real red flag. He doesn't care about safety prrocedures or risk management. He just want his return on investment.
have you ever looked into how we got to use drugs for different things?
Most drugs were discovered via trial and error. Literally, pull a bacteria with interesting properties out of the jungle, put in 1000 Petri dishes with different conditions and experiments, look for something interesting. Test in animals. If animal dies, test other samples. If none do anything, find new bacteria.
Penicillin was discovered from moldy bread… or so the folklore goes
I am a doctor we have bunch of drugs we use as treatment that we have no idea what it does properly. Sometimes we dont even know what are we treating either.
Not sure it is in the best interests of humanity to have a small section of ultra wealthy people living for far longer.
Like vampires, basically.

In general a pretty nonsense documentary.
Aging is a process that we NEED to understand in order to be treatable. And YES, drugs for animal have much higher chances to get to the market.
Anti-aging should be researched without a moral compass. In this instance the ends definitely justify the means.
it should be our number one priority above all else

Soon enough the law will be forced to retire the 60 year old retirement age
Meanwhile an estimated 9 million people are still starving to death every year, in 2024
The sad part of that statistic is that it’s mainly a logistics/distribution problem. We produce more than enough food to feed everyone on earth, maybe not with the standard western diet but still.
1.3 billion tons of food is wasted every year.

@@markedis5902 It's not a miserable existence of an extra few years. The drugs are there to help them reach the point at which death becomes a choice. After that, they could live normally. "Anti-aging drug", that's a bit of an oxymoron. Pump the body full of foreign chemicals, hoping to reduce ageing. At least they'll die looking young.
“Foreign chemicals” like penicillin have extended the average age greatly in the 20th century. Most people used to die from infectious diseases and accidents. Now that people live longer, the deaths from chronic diseases like cardiovascular disease or cancer are more prevalent.
Meanwhile...Madonna patiently waiting for this to succeed 😂
