Is anyone else impressed with the whole guitar playing while riding a mono wheel?
Nothing new here :p
He’s a really motivated guy
@@PooNinja having met and hung out w/him, nothing does justice to the efforts he puts in both on and off screen. Dudes a machine.
@@kainagami yeah he’s been rocking the mono for a while...still impresses me.
Yes
Great review and very nice digs, love the "behind-the-scenes" look at your setup (which is a dream setup btw!) I think you gave a well balanced review and the honesty in being paid goes a long way too. Also, nice monowheel skills :D
Great honest review! And shout out to NUX for having the guts to let people give honest reviews!
The outside test was one of the best laughs I had in a long time. Who does this in such a perfect video quality? U are the nerd of nerds nerd
I've been watching UA-cam avidly since it came out.
I can say that watching you roll away on the mono wheel while the tone started breaking up killed Me. This is one of my favorite UA-cam moments thanks.
I bought this after your video, absolutely stunning experience! before it was always a hassle for me to setup everything and start playing - that is way I was playing more and more rarely. now its so easy to start - my receiver and transmitter are always in jacks - just turn it on and ready to go. 100% recommended
Bonus house tour...great video...i'm gonna get a set!
always entertaining, love your long reviews and i always appreciate your love for animals.
It’s definitely a good product for its intended users you certainly gave it an extensive review 👍🏻.
you sold me on this review, perfect. im gonna buy this the next pay check, i am completely noob to wireless system. im playing at a small church mostly sitting down, im just interested in how neat the "cabling" would be, plus i need to convince others at my church we are planning to go full digital sound system and wireless system in the near future which im sure the "more expensive" ones are perfect for it. weird that everyone is talking about latency while we had 6 wireless mic system for years lol.
I’ve had situations where I had hum that disappeared when connecting wirelessly. For that alone, it’s worth having wireless as an option.
Danke. Guter und lustiger Test!
Oopsie really matches the fields. Nice.
Great and very fare teat, Henning, for this kind of money well worth it! "Nice balance by the way".
I had the old NUX model it lasted a couple of years than died. It had a few things I did not like but it sounded excellent. I now have had the new one in the video for a half a year. They have all the bugs out of it. I have NEVER had a problem with it at a club even when using it standing all over the club which I do to for a sound check. My guess under normal use of moving around even a large stage. One good tip is you can put a female to female adapter on the transmitter than put a small pedal patch cable onto the end. You get a small cell phone case that comes with a clip. Clip the case to your guitar strap. Not only does it get the transmitter of your guitar ...you look like you own a high end wireless rig. LOL
lol also this is very useful if your body has a lot of iron that blocks the signal
When I saw the head stock of that guitar...I'll admit, I did a double-take. Tune WHAT??? After the drone was off, I was like HOLY CRAP MAN, HE'S GOING TO MAKE IT TO THE TREES!!!
I was just looking for a wireless! 😃
THAT hoodie is LIT
Best thumbnail I've ever seen brother
Cool guitar. I have one exactly like that! :D
Is it works on active pickups?
Wait, are parts of the video slightly sped up or is something wrong with my system or have you tuned the guitar sharp?
That thumbnail could be an album cover.
Neat little gadget.
I sold my line 6 digital wireless microphones due to not working at all with audience present. During soundcheck no problems, when people with their mit mobile phones come in, half a meter range in the 2.4 GHz band. Now I have bought two analog shure set. Whish me luck.
I think you have to have realistic expectations when something cost so little. I would definitely get one to practice at home
On point comment. Wuhan virus notwithstanding, few people are gonna ever play on 200 foot stages. Except in their dreams. :)
I'm no pro but playing for 35 years. I got the original Nux B2 system a couple years ago, along with the identical OEM version from Harley Benton. Both the Nux and the HB systems work flawlessly at home or most small playing venues. I LOVE THEM. My ears say there is little to no discernable difference in tone for non-recording situations using these as opposed to cables. Henning is absolutely right on this.
I actually own 4 sets of wireless units and the Nux/HB are my faves. They are without question among the lowest profile units of this type on the market currently. Also, as Henning mentioned, these design units will indeed fit in every guitar, including challenging ones like Ibanez S series and others. Contrast this with the XVive U2 system which has such a horribly large plastic collar around the plug and hugely rounded shoulders, both of which prevent full insertion into Ibanez S series style jacks. I had to have a custom 16" male to female cable made to use the XVive, strapping the transmitter to my guitar strap like old school wireless packs. Shitty design IMO for sure.
The only 2 things I would ask from Nux/HB for next iterations is 5.8ghz operating frequency and increased battery life.
Transmitters on these kinds of things universally get about 25% less battery life than receivers and of course the box marketing always states the receiver battery life. So if it says 4-6 hours you're gonna get more like 3-4.5 hours from the transmitter.
But this is why I got both the Nux B2 and the HB - I always have one fully charged and on deck.
For home/small gig use, freedom from wires is liberating and brilliant.
Sorry for the novel - just sharing my own experience.
Cheers!
nice house tour.
Henning, out of curiosity, why do you keep a Sidekick pedal on the desk? Do you use it that often, is it THAT good? THX!
it’s got the basic chorus delay and reverb that I wouldn’t want to quickly check stuff out or have some fun, it’s a great pedal
@@EytschPi42 thanks for the reply, that was just what I wanted to know!
10:15 Am i the only one who found this scene here funny? Absolute silence with Henning just rolling in across the middle of some fearsome looking trees/woods that is broken up by some beautiful lush greens from the fields??
So Gary Moore is not the only one to play Out In The Fields. 😝
It would not reach as far as Over the hills and far away i guess, but he surely underrated the Murder in the skies 😅
That bloody drone-bitch, at this moment you better not play at Russia - Ukriane grounds cause there are to many drones flying at this sad moments....... I really missed something about calling Elon Musk ´ Starlink system ´ for guitar ??????
Are you at the crossroads?
Henning's house is what heaven looks like
Could the drone's controller be on or near the same channel.
but the Line6 behaved the same way
@@EytschPi42 maybe they use the same SOC which default to the same channel/frequency.
Nu metal,Nutella ,Nutrition, Neuticle wait what Nu X wireless? Looks amazing for playing around the house.
Or just startle your family by hiding practice amps around the house and surprising them with disembodied chuging 👍🏽. ( bathroom surprises not recommended)
You really bring me to evil ideas to surprise my mother-in-law Ninja !!!!
Could you run a pedalboard with effects send and return? I guess you would need 3 setups
whats the point in making the pedalboard wireless too ? just the guitar is enough and you need only 1 wireless kit (transmiter into guitar, receiver into the first pedal)
Because I have about 80 feet of chords with 20’ cables and my pedalboard. I hate having a full bag of just chords and I keep backups so I have 100’ feet of chords in a bag.
You should start a petition at your local council to re-name this field "Studio-C"
Studio soybean?
@@PooNinja Soiboi Sound! ;oP
Your brother I guess is the one that got all the hair, you, not so much. That's okay I still in love all your videos keep up the good work.
Angus Young used wireless in the studio though :p
believe it or not
Well the whole story is more that he used a system, that also color the audio. Its really a part of his sound. He used that "old" system for a very long time. Even company lined up to give him a new system. He refused, as they did not sounded like his old system. Its not that long ago he got a new system, that sounds exactly like the old system, but is a modern system. Yes he use that system in the studio as well. Why should he not as its part of his sound?
nice outro rack. Is that your own?
yes
You're defiantly a man outstanding in his field 🙄
Can we talk about how big and cool his house is?
Man, do you remember that number 44.1? Is that sampling rate, not the freq response? XD
sample rate
@@EytschPi42 BTW nice work out there, gotta admit it honestly
Why is the video sped up and has a higher pitch than usual? Is something up or I'm hallucinating?
it shouldn’t
Did you you change the YT video settings by any chance?
I just noticed that doesn't change the pitch, nevermind.
19:00 Penetrate... cue the Beavis and Butthead chuckles. 😄
Maybe the electric motor of the unicycle also radiates electromagnetic waves which also disturbs the transmission
You really made a point there Freaky86 !!!!! How good of you !!!
Damn, that thing does not have auto tune built in ;-)
I do not need to go more than 6' from my amp.
That people be like “huh just another monocycle guitarist nothing remarkable”
They’re becoming more prevalent I think they have something to do with the disappearance of the bees?
At least you know HOW to say NU-X!
Like you said: "It works" - But its inconvenient, because it doesn't have a charger, you can just stick it in.
You can't charge it without fumbling with a USB connector for each unit, and they'll lay about some place, adding to the clutter. Poor concept. Two batteries that will eventually fail instead of one.
-> I much prefer Line6 G10: Reveiver stays plugged in to the same outlet as your modeler or amp. When you want to play, you grab the sender and stick it into your guitar. That's it, nothing else to fumble with. And that sender is always in the same place - the charger. The likelyhood to loose the sender somewhere on the desk or somewhere among your gear is practically NIL.
The ULTIMATE Solution would be to have a receiver and charging receptacle built into every guitar modeler!
And an option available for amps too!
I mean where does your guitar get plugged into? that's where you want a receiver/charger to be present. $50 option for your amp.
You're saying Henning built this channel on honesty? I was fooled all this time.
If you play big stages, you should be able to buy a big system. If you play tiny stages you will have less headaches with a good cable.
In its intended hunting grounds any tonal loss, real or imagined, could easily be EQ'd out or in, stick some effects and gain in the mix and if you can tell the difference please stand up Joe Bonamassa/Eric Johnson etc.
I have whatever the best in price is when I can justify it, bookmarked internally.
What a Test! A bald man on a motorized unicycle playing guitar, Wow! You don't see that everyday. OK joking aside, pretty good test, I expected longer range.
Your homeowners insurance must be 1000 pages long
There is absolutely no substitute for a high quality cable.
It is not a review, it is movie!!
Or - just use it as a drone detector! ;)
😅
change the channel, may have been the drone was broadcasting on the same one
I kinda feel there was something going on on that field, everything underperformed
Buried pyramid 🤫
Choppy at 20ft
Drones, remotes, range, interference, festivals, bars.... I just want to sit on my bed and play without a cable to the amp that's 6' away 🤣
Is a bald man playing guitar on an electric unicycle a common sight in your neck of the woods, Hennning? Only those walkers didn't seem particularly phased.
I was surprised as well
16:45 17:10
17:09 - 17:26
Alter 😅 Nice crib!
15:00 - if you are actually doing serious recording...why in the world would you use a digital wireless? Idk, ask Mr. Young from that one band AC/DC...!
that wasn’t digital
5.8.ghz. only way to go. have several pair. 5.8 has alot less interference. i have never had a problem. everything is on 2.4. cell phones computers \wifi. blah blah. jus get 5.8
the problem is the higher you get in frequency, the less stable the signal gets when passing through obstacles
Microwaves, Bluetooth, USB Wireless etc.pp all 2.4ghz
@@heikosoeder I have three different sets of 5.8 and I gig with them and practice with the band and I have never had a problem or issue, but then again im not running off anywhere, but no latency or interference ever, love em.
@@ShadeHope1969 5.8 ghz is Drohne fpv ,ism band etc.pp all the Same.
7 minutes into the video and still no showing test of the Wireless System, just the guy talking.
there are chapter marks!
Can we talk about the utter mess in the blue room?
I know!
🎶she wore blue velvet 🎶 wait what?
@@EytschPi42 that is the coolest thing ever. Riding a uni and playing.... really enjoyed it but you really should have worn a helmet ⛑
Can you post what that unicycle is? I wanna check it out
Quit all this silly guitar stuff......you my friend should be a wardrobe mentor......or a fashion consultant .......a gifted clothing prodigy.........perhaps a fabric freak.....a fashionotsta..........garment guru. You could start by correcting your brother’s wardrobe. Aloha
Get on with it .cut the comedy
