It is very nice to see someone who wants to be obedient to God.
It doesn't matter how close you were with him. Now that you have accepted Christ as your Savior, you must marry someone who is also saved. That is the will of God. Pray for that boy and tell him the good news, the gospel. Give him a bible, and stay away from him. You shouldn't be a distraction to him. He shouldn't be a distraction to you.

Be frank, Lord Jesus Christ loves the person who volunteerily worships him. Even though I grow as a Hindu, I studied in Christian school. Yes brother, u can convert to Christianity only for the love of Jesus. Not for marriage. If u really accept Jesus Christ as your personal saviour, he will change your situations and do miracles in your marriage. But don't accept Christianity for your girlfriend to marriage.

Pastor now a days u may know that some boy r girls from orthodox Christian family were falling in love with other non believer boys r girls but their parents were also conducting both ceremonies. But is it good or bad will jesus forgive them or,,,,,,,
Brother, we cannot be sure if they can bring their partners to the light that is Jesus Christ. But this is a serious disobedience before the Lord. He warned us not be yoked unequally, that is not to marry non-believers. So they will definitely face the consequences, and in their hardship, if they turn again to the Lord and be obedient in everything, the Lord will forgive them and help them. But according to the word of God, there is no assurance that the non-believer will be saved.
These days people try to be smarter than God. They don't read and obey the word of God. Their priority is not God but the lust of the eye.
I personally know a Christian girl who was born in a Christian family, a servant of God from her childhood, but got married to a Hindu boy. Then she found out that he has an affair with another woman. I heard last that she is sliding back from her faith. This is why I am clinging to Jesus in everything I do. He loves us, but we make the choice.

I was born Hindu.. But I accepted Christ as my Saviour. My parents( still Hindus) are looking for alliance. I clearly told that I would marry a guy who would help to know more about Jesus and accept my parents as how they are. My parents also agreed to marry a Christian guy. Is marriage between a believer and non believer family a sin? Am I wrong?
