Imagine playing a 1 on 1 card game and at the end of his turn, your opponent can choose on of three randomly selected cards that exist in the game to add to his deck, possibly just slowly building a custom deck made just to counter you as the game is happening
I know that they pre-record the series, so there's a good chance we won't see this strat, but still: There is a way to cheese this game, Start with ironclad, find Dropkick, limit your deck to 5 cards, and you have unlimited attacks on one turn, if you bash the first turn, and dropkick on the second one :p
Y'all inspired me to play yet another game. I ended up with a Relic a few times that allowed me to put Demon Form in my hand at the start of every battle, which then makes the rest of the game fucking cake. Last boss I fought was Time Lord and I hit him for over 200 in one attack because of this Relic with Demon Form, Limit Break, Flex, and the Heavy Slam or whatever the attack is called that multiplies with Strength. Pretty fucking nutty with the right combination.
By far this was my favorite deck. Not the most optimal, but always clutch except vs time eater. The best deck is one stacked with cards that you don't own.
You got me to buy this fucking game and now I'm addicted to it. Thank you and good job! The deck-building counteracts much of the RNG of this game, but if you rely on decks that play many cards per turn, you have to pray to RNGsus to not get the Time Lord in Act 3. These otherwise great decks become instantly unviable when you face the Time Lord. It's kind of unfair.
The wombo combo is Feel No Pain (preferably x2), Corruption, Barricade, Body Blow, and block cards (like Impervious, Ghostly Armor, Flame Barrier, Metalicize, etc.) Fiend Fire (and Exhume), Dead Branch, and Charon's Ashes works wonders with this deck. You fish for the core cards (Barricade/Feel No Pain/Metalicize) while blocking enemy damage. Once the block starts rising, you Body Blow the enemies to death. I've easily dealt like 100 points of damage with 100 block and Body Blow.
When they said it was a bit late for Molten Egg, I thought "but won't it apply to the cards you add mid battle, from the branch and the book?" - I mean this as a question, rather than criticism of Major and Dillon - am I right about that or does it only apply to new permanent cards?
the majority of this series for me is going "I don't know about that play" and "Your deck kinda suck." That is the entirety of the experience of watching someone play a card game.
charlie Reding well they have to talk to the audience and each other about any decision they make as a whole. And the longer they make the episode the more ad revenue they can make.
FWOB Homosexual Tier list: 1. (Straightest) Dillon - Something about him screams homophobe to me and I'm not sure why 2. Cade - The vibes I get from Cade lean more towards straight guy who gets drinks splashed on him than homosexual 3. Jacob - While Jacob is engaged, most of the gay jokes come up when he's around (makes you think doesn't it) 4. Major - He has kissed numerous men on the lips AND has furry tendencies. He may be straight, but there's always a possibility 5. (Gayest) Don - He has a gay voice and mannerisms. He's straight tho, but he's still the gayest. I am a licensed Homosexual so therefore I'm an expert on this. I can even show you my license if you want. Edit: It has been made apparent to me by my colleagues that Don is in fact Bi. To show you all that not even licensed Homosexuals can get everything right, I have decided to leave the tier list un-edited. Clearly the gaydar needs calibration.
I'm not jank enough for Dual Wield. It was Metallicize+, 2 Twin Strikes+, True Grit+, Shrug it off+, Pommel Strike+, Body Slam+. 1st turn Play Metallicize, exhaust 1 twin strike w/ true grit. After that, just play Shrug it off, Body Slam then Pommel strike+ to draw Shrug it off and Body slam again, then play them both again. Guaranteed 28 block and 49 damage each turn.
Imagine playing a 1 on 1 card game and at the end of his turn, your opponent can choose on of three randomly selected cards that exist in the game to add to his deck, possibly just slowly building a custom deck made just to counter you as the game is happening
It's amazing that you just built a block deck in the middle of battle.
"Well, uh, Dillon, I good at video games" - Major 2018
I hope that Major eventually did a pure strength into Heavy Blade+ build. Shit is so op
Now imagine a cycle deck with anger limit break and unceasing top
I know that they pre-record the series, so there's a good chance we won't see this strat, but still:

I'm looking forward to April Fools' Day tomorrow, last year it brought us Solitaire and Chuck E Cheese's.
I have no idea what to expect. Maybe we just get nothing. That would be hilarious.
We better get a reverse of last year, where everyone except Major plays Poker and Major goes to Chuck E Cheese by himself
Turns on computer
Goes onto UA-cam
Go to FWOB channel
Sees that the new slay the spire video is 1 hour long
*nice*
This is one of the greatest comment sections, because you never know what the hell you'll find here.
this deck is insane, embrace the chaos with dead branch and exhausting fucking everything, beautiful
FWOB has become the only gaming channel I consistently watch. Keep up the hgih-Quality content.
This is by far my favorite recent FWOB series

Is it weird that this is one of my favorite series, yet, it isn't very funny?
There's just something about Slay the Spire that's enjoyable to watch, idk why
Luke Russell No not really.
It’s one of my favorites and it’s staight up infuriating to me.
Is relaxing
This gimmick is fucking hilarious lmao
Hot Dog THEY DIDN’T EVEN PLAY IT RIGHT IM SO ANGRU AND 12
True heart of the cards.
By far this was my favorite deck. Not the most optimal, but always clutch except vs time eater. The best deck is one stacked with cards that you don't own.
Bag of preparation is quite literally pot of greed
You got me to buy this fucking game and now I'm addicted to it.

7:29 i guess u could say they are 2 expensive for u!HAhahahahahhah
I'll let myself out
I GET IT RAIN MAN LIKE THE MOVIE FROM THE 80s WITH TOM CRUISE AND THAT ONE GUY WHO IS REALLY GOOD AT ACTING AUTISTIC
They passed up entrench every time. It literally DOUBLES block and it doesn't exhaust. They could have just sauced up that block with barricade
I might be retarded but since later on they grabbed Barricade wouldn't Rage at 41:30 be OP as shit? Just constantly stacking like 15 block a turn?
Jake Stavinsky feel no pain also works with Fiend fire magnificently, IF ONLY THEY GRABBED IT.

Mick Vang Yeah I saw a guy build the cap on block then body blow
Lets just say that was the most satisfying nut I had all month
Thanks for showing me a new fun indie game
time lord apparently is the only last boss you can get lol

Ethan Younger Banks no, since they had the frozen egg and the powers they drew weren't upgraded
ItsM4rtytime I hadn't spotted that, thanks!
Imagine if there was a card game where you build your deck as the game went on
Arsh Liquir Those exist. For example, check out "Dominion".
I can feel their pain with Time Lord. I ran into him running a shiv deck, so I kinda just ate shit.
So much Rng, now this is a real major run
I feel like if you guys built an exhaust deck it would have been hella fun to play with that relic you got
the majority of this series for me is going "I don't know about that play" and "Your deck kinda suck." That is the entirety of the experience of watching someone play a card game.
Idubbbz sold me on the game, fwob made me buy it.
They had an exhaust deck and they don’t even play it to its full capabilities... smh
And the speed run record is 5 min... Feels bad man
charlie Reding well they have to talk to the audience and each other about any decision they make as a whole. And the longer they make the episode the more ad revenue they can make.
I prefer the longer episodes than having a 1 hour run streched out into a couple of 10-15 minutes long videos
charlie Reding how
I saw the episode title and for a sec I thought they revived the series
19:16 this happens
Oh a full hour. They actually get to the final boss (I am guessing).
You should've tried using Corruption with this build, it'd just be free new cards that you could just chain
Cool video!
I was waiting for Dual wield into Fiend Fire.. it couldve happened twice lol. Oh well nice run.
For your consideration: Anger+ and Unceasing Top, and remove every other card from your deck.
I thought Major was a real card gamer, but I just keep on seeing him playing cards in awful order.
Also I'm 12
Who is the straitest fwob member?
Jacob has a girlfriend
Santiago Varela isnt she his wife now? Or are they engaged
JamerGamer164 They are engaged but you can be gay and engaged
FWOB Homosexual Tier list:

NeotheDarkspine pretty sure don is bi
Will this game be on mobile
i hope you guys speedrunned this game too
use feel no pain its a really good card
True. though it doesn't work against emotional pain and that's the sort of stuff you need to worry about late game.
truer words have never been spoken
For some reason the anger deck felt really stale to watch? idk maybe I just sniff too much glue
Holy crap, 7 adds?
Wow money in da bank :D
I beat Ascension mode 2 with the Ironclad using a 7 card deck lol
Were they all angers?
Duncan Ryan it's all about dual wild and the slash that costs 0 and draws a card. Multiply it and constantly attack with a deck of 2
I'm not jank enough for Dual Wield. It was Metallicize+, 2 Twin Strikes+, True Grit+, Shrug it off+, Pommel Strike+, Body Slam+. 1st turn Play Metallicize, exhaust 1 twin strike w/ true grit. this entire game was throwing exhaust deck stuff into their faces at every turn but it wouldn't have been as funny if they took it
Wow
I was hoping to see conserved energy spam on time lord
1 hour :)
☭
Egg
Crud.
Oh come on no more Slay the Spire?
...can we get some fwob fortnite content?
I'm the 321th like
