You have may have to change the main filter capacitor, if it's value is less than 12 volt...

that depends on what the fuck you decide to take apart. today chargers use step down chips that have a fixed input output value. if it was a 6v 2a charger it will be 12v 1a if u move it up to 24v it wouuld be 24v .05 amp charger this is because we started with a 12 watt charger and will end with a 12 watt charger dick head.

@@shfahim7938 It will be connected across the output leads. There might be two connected through a choke (coil of wire). Also the auxiliary capacitor if there is one. In short increase all the low voltage electrolytic capacitors to a voltage higher than the final output and make sure they are low ESR. If not, bang !

if i were you,i only rewind the transformer,i will double the turns of secondary coil,thats all.
It will not work. Rewinding will only decrease the ampere not increase the voltage. Because of the zener diode.
@@CreativeGoutam i have an charger here without zener diode,i cannot screenshot here to prove it with tester,it has only a few resistor,transistor,diode and also transformer,no zener diode,an old china made phone charger for nokia 3210
For your kind information, there is no transformer in mobile charger... the transformer like part is a inductance coil....
