ΘΕΟΔΩΡΟΣ ΚΟΛΟΚΟΤΡΩΝΗΣ - Ο ΓΕΡΟΣ ΤΟΥ ΜΩΡΙΑ

Η «ΜΗΧΑΝΗ ΤΟΥ ΧΡΟΝΟΥ» γυρίζει πίσω, στο 1821, και παρουσιάζει τη ζωή και τη δράση του ΘΕΟΔΩΡΟΥ ΚΟΛΟΚΟΤΡΩΝΗ. Ιδιαίτερη αναφορά γίνεται στη στρατηγική του φυσιογνωμία και στον πρωταγωνιστικό ρόλο που έπαιξε στη μάχη στο Βαλτέτσι, στην Άλωση της Τριπολιτσάς και στην καταστροφή της στρατιάς του ΔΡΑΜΑΛΗ στα Δερβενάκια. Εξετάζονται ζητήματα που αφορούν την διαφωνία του με την Αντιβασιλεία και πώς αυτή τον οδήγησε στις φυλακές του Ναυπλίου, με την κατηγορία της εσχάτης προδοσίας. Δίνονται πληροφορίες για τη δίκη του Θ. ΚΟΛΟΚΟΤΡΩΝΗ, για την καταδίκη του σε θάνατο και για τη μετατροπή της ποινής, λίγα χρόνια αργότερα, σε 20ετή κάθειρξη. Κατά τη διάρκεια της εκπομπής προβάλλονται στιγμιότυπα από την ταινία «Η δίκη των δικαστών».

Στο 15:05 λέει ότι τα βρήκαν οι Έλληνες με τους υπερασπιστές της πόλης που ήταν Αρβανίτες.. Δεν ήταν Αρβανίτες.. Αλβανοί ήταν.. Άλλο Αρβανίτες και άλλο Αλβανοί..

The Greeks sentenced him to prison.

Theodor Kolokotroni (Bythguri) was a prominent Arvanite warrior and general and leader of the uprising in Greece against the Ottoman Empire.
Otherwise known as the "Old Man of More" he was born on April 3, 1770 under a tree in old Messinia. The whole life of the Kollokotron flows among the arborists, whether Muslim or Christian.
Kolkotroni had become a brother with the Christian, Marko Boçari, and with a Muslim, Ali Farmaq. Colocotron's soldiers were arboreal either from the Morea or from the Ameria.
The epithet Kolokotron is the correct translation of the arboreal expression "Byth-Guri" and was first given to his grandfather, Jan. In September 1833 Kollokotronine was imprisoned in the Greek naval frigate and demanded his death sentence.
In his memoirs, Kollokotroni rightly says: "They put me in prison for 9 months, without seeing anyone, except the guards. For so many months, I didn't know what was happening outside, who was dying, who else was imprisoned.
I didn't know why I was imprisoned. I never believed that they would reach this level of inventing false witnesses...". Defense lawyer Klonari - said in his speech.
"How long, Mr. Judge, will you continue this barbaric attack?" Until when the relentless persecution against those who freed, raised their glory and continue to give glory to Greece..?" Kolkotroni after leaving prison was killed in treachery like many arboretum heroes of the 1821 uprising.
The question of the last name and its meaning was mysterious, because the name Gjin was misunderstood, which was thought to be just the name that was used, but in fact its true meaning of the word "gender" (gender that means people).
Kolokotron's *surname* is a Greek translation of the name Bythguri, but their ancient surname is ərgjini, an arboreal adjective, which means: cher = mature and gender = people, so mature people would be the variant in standard. The word "gjin" in the Albanian language, especially in Gegerishtja, means people, and I think that this can mean the same thing in the Arvanitas dialect, a word which is still used nowadays mainly in the North.
