I work at a welding shop in Chattanooga. The bay door in my area has train tracks right next to it. Plus I have a awesome view of lookout mountain. I always take some time to watch them drop off and pickup cars in the yard. I also live right next to a railroad track. Love the sounds of an approaching train! Rest in peace shoestring!!!❤

Lots of different types of trains, including foreign power, Mexican power in Kentucky!!! A GRRAT job while camping. It was disappointing that it was not a family camping adventure!!
Awesome railfan video from a remote location. God’s protective covering over you was in evidence. Thank you for the great videos. Your efforts are much appreciated JT.

My first time camping by tracks was in 1973 when my soon-to-be wife and her hoard of young brothers camped at Watkins Glen NY. One of them found the Penn Central tracks about 100 feet or so behind our camp just before dark and said it looked like a train hadn't been through there in years. At 2 or 3 in the morning, I learned that rust on the rails doesn't mean the tracks are abandoned.
Now that is my idea of camping. Awesome action with one of gambits' "electric car fuel" trains. Really appreciate the great night shot. Enjoyed it much, thanks JT!
You had a wonderful two camping/railfanning experience on October 5 and 6, 2024, Jaw Tooth which brought us this excellent video. I enjoyed watching the trains. I also enjoyed watching the reflective tape markings and the reflective railroad lgos on the freight cars of the night view of that train. (Posted 14 October 2024 at 1826 CDT.)
Nice camp site more like young days of camping not the rv parking of today nice unique video watch for those bears and radle snakes great video 👍 as always 👍 😊
This is quite an adventure camping out near the CSX tracks in Kentucky being able to see and the trains going through the area and this is really awesome as well as being in a very nice part of Kentucky. also of course seeing the magnificent live action pets dogs and cats are always great to see and the slide show with awesome music playing as always thank you Jaw Tooth.🚂🚃🚃🇺🇲
Wow! That was incredible. The trains were fun and entertaining as usual and thank you for sharing them with us. You are very brave my friend to camp out in very primitive conditions. I noticed you weren’t being carried away by mosquitoes, predictors or snakes. We have lost all of our ash trees here. Some areas are only dead ash trees. It’s sad to see.

My best places to camp in Georgia would be Montezuma, Cordele, Unadilla, and Nahunta. But if you decide to camp, you might need more cans of insect repellant. LOLZ!
What an awesome video, what a great idea to camp out and shine your lights on the tracks. I'm sure the engineers were wondering about the lights in the middle of nowhere. How the heck did you find this cool spot in the middle of nowhere? thanks for the video, and BE CRAZY!!
