I had the exact same bike . Fuel injection .4i into 1 bassarani excuse the spelling .it's been a while since I had it I have a picture of it still ..if you get after her in 3 Rd gear it would smoke the tire
@@dbmotorepairs yes another gear would be nice.i was always trying to shift up when I was already in 5 .I broke the stupid speedo cable the first day I got it . The exhaust sounded amazing . You couldn't help but redline it in ever gear .one day i waa going home from work and turned onto Another street I got after it and had 3 guys come running out of there garage to see me . I miss that bike I was thinking about the new z Kawasaki has love the retro look .
@@darrenpriestley01 Indeed, I worked on one just this week the owner bought for over 10K, who'd have thought that would ever be the case! I don't ignore how lucky I am to get to test bikes like these though, the 1100 was an eye opener, really great bike for the early 80's.

They do have an arm pulling amount of grunt, I do wonder if Kawa made the motor to be even stronger too there's plenty of spare engineering in there!

Is it just me or are the bikes from when I was a youngster back in fashion?
Definitely, the bikes we barely looked twice at 30 years ago, they're about as cool as it gets now!
