Recording of WCBS-AM Newsradio 880's final hours after 57 years of broadcasting the news to the tri-state area and beyond and 100 years of broadcasting. Audacy closed Newsradio and entered a local marketing agreement (LMA) with Good Karma Brands to broadcast ESPN sports radio (WHSQ-AM). Leaving the tri-state commercial radio market with just one news station WINS-AM 1010 also owned by Audacy. Wayne Cabot did the final sign-off for WCBS-AM at midnight on August 25, 2024.
