Good video 👍 I like how you explain the what & why of what your doing and the quirks of how the machinery acts dull vs freshly filed and etc.
Great video and the education is great thanks for the trip
Love watching logs get processed, its calming. This is one of the best channels ive come across so far. Thank you.

Who needs aerobic exercise when you have a job like this.

Love the channel, what size are ties 9x7, does it matter what kind of oak?
Nope! They also take maple, hickory, ash, beech, and others. No poplar or softer wood
no explanation on how you use the laser or the gauge on the left. why didn't you zoom closer to the gauge showing the width of the boards?

good looking awing my dad had a mill hard work how many hp on you,re saw blades
Do u check logs for metal
How many logs do you saw in a shift ? For example today how many logs and footage?
Do you always debark your own logs or does another man do it?
It was my dad in this video! Sometimes it’s me and I’ll do it during break
16:50 These log turners, do you metal detect these logs before or after the debarking?
Honestly we don’t use a big metal detector. It just depends who we’re buying logs from🤷 Good loggers don’t send in metal logs. I haven’t hit metal in over a month
What's your average run time when the deck is full of debarked logs ?
Would they buy tamarack/hackmatack/larch or hemlock ties?
For me personally, the cab view isn’t good to watch
