Youre totally right. I never said that i hate that theres no exhaust sound. In a car like this, i definetly want to enjoy a cruise and quiet car. I didnt want to say that its bad. My comment was to say that they did they job well. Its a totally different car as an AMG. So with this engine and power it is amazing that Maybach gets this relaxed sound.
That a car with 600+ HP sounds like this is amazing. Tipically for Mercedes and Maybach. Youre great.

I swear the coupe S560 is louder from the outside shots, I wonder if that's by design. Anyway beautiful car nonetheless.
this is the maybach its meant to be quiet
The S560 coupe has a much louder exhaust with pops and crackles. It's absolutely by design. The regular S560 sedan sounds the same as this one.
Coupe is meant for sporty driving, therefore it has a better factory exhaust system. Maybach buyers as you can guess dont really want cracks and pops so they made it as silent as possible. You could put an aftermarket in that Maybach and it would sound like an AMG monster but whats the point then, it aint no sports car, you dont hear Rolls V12 engine screaming like a V12 ferrari? Completely different classes of cars and im even quite surprised people would mention this.
