I taught my grandpa to use duolingo. he loved it so much he now has nearly a 2.000 days streak. he never skips a day and always comes to me when he has any questions, calling me he's little teacher. It's adorable.

Honestly, I think that they should’ve given you a bigger reward, like instead of just 3 days of Duo Plus (or duo super/max because they changed it) they should give you an expanded streak freeze inventory or a longer trial of Duo plus/max/super or atleast a few gems
I mean, in recent days you can also get a free 3 day preview from smaller milestones such as 50, 100, 150 and etc. but it kinda just stops after like a year milestone
i dont think they're the right example because they're doing something good with their free time like learning as like examples of people being "glued to the phone" are known for not doing anything productive
