    You've left out a majorly important factor. Consistent "flicks" are done in two parts, not one. First you have an initial movement towards the target, then a microcorrection, all in one smooth motion without stopping. It's important that they're distinct, because a single motion will be inconsistent. Your goal with the first movement is to underflick or land directly on target, really just majorly avoiding overflicking, then your correction is continuing that movement directly to your target with a more precise/short movement that you can confidently hit a large majority of the time. You apply tension to make your first large controlled movement, then release that tension as it travels to get ready for the 2nd correcting motion smoothly. You can feel how tension is required to maintain control while applying velocity if you play with your aim a bit while paying attention to it, and how you can consciously release that once the speed is applied and maintain control. A lot of players like to briefly track their target before shooting as practice, and then with practice and confidence you learn to be able to confidently know you'll hit the shot faster and faster

      Yes what you say is true. The point I am making here is that even perfect flicks can have better consistency rates without switching to smooth aim giving you additional speed

    Solid tips. I definitely agree that switching up sensitivites doesnt matter. I swap between 1.65->2 all the time and it works out fine. What faceit elo are you mr kitchen?

    i really dislike these tracking maps .like in 3:50 cuz the enemy rarely gonna run only 1 direction like a fool and let you lock into the speed . i can focus on track very easily but soon as they counter move even for a sec i lose the aim instantly and i cant hop back fast enough. some 3rd party track stuff is prob. better where random jiggle and back and forth movement involved like on the pistol rounds.
    the first thing you show . the ability to tell the distance between 2 points. like a flick precision is one of the most underrated important thing . i see often pros techsharp movement between 2 walls make their time to watch useless thing into only split seconds. wish i could train it that good. sadly its prob. experience

      I think the map is useful for people who don't want to use other tools to get started with the concept of tracking. This is why in both weekly and daily routine, I use Kovaaks. I think it is one of the best things you can do for your tracking and it starts translating to in-game tracking quite soon as well

    My DPI is 22800, and in mouse settings in win11 control panel is 2nd step from left. In game sens 0.25 and sniper 1.17, and i cant headshoting non from deagle nor from ak, Only AWP but again not good. I ended up death matches between 380-480.. but in 2D games i show top tier performances, like in osu 4 star map on hard double mode..or In aimbost, Frenzy games same very good results. But in 3d games unfortunally very awful resulta. And i dont want go back 6 step with 800 dpi and 1.17 sens. Right now with my Dpi i have full control over each pixels of screen diagonals with very small hand adjustments...anywats your vudeo actuaaly good and helpful Thanks

      I made this guide mostly for FPS games like cs and valorant. I think your own research for your own needs is the best working solution for you. If something works for you, dont change it unless you want to experiment and see if some new config can be run

    Good topic, I just wanna say that I don't mean this in a bad way, this is just my critique. But I would rather listen to someone who is at least 4k elo or at a pro level. This is helpful for new players and gold novas who are just starting out in cs2, or is playing faceit at level 9 or below. I advise for the future you should be more specific in your titles because its too general, and you are like doing what most people are doing, making the title very general and not specific, video is also very general with basic principles on mechanics in aiming and settings. I would recommend anyone seeing this to watch someone like Styko or SaVage who dive more deeply into these things. Apart from that I think with more practice, you will make better videos.

    • @cs2kitchen
      @cs2kitchen  5 днів тому

      I appreciate your feedback, thanks for the constructive criticism!
      I disagree with faceit elo and aim advice connection though. Even Donk doesn't have 4k elo along with numerous pros. If you play daily and grind faceit not as a side goal but main center of your life maybe it becomes feasible. You can find exceptional aimers like snow who don't even play competitive games.
      By this logic even styko is not entitled to give his opinion as he is 3k elo with 1900 matches and I am 2.5k with just 380.
      There are a lot of very advanced aiming topics that don't really help cs players as counterstrike character movement is not as hard as some games. CS is more about experience and understanding which players like Styko have. However, fundamentally some people over rely on utility and never think about their aim at a deeper level. These people were the target for the video. You will be surprised to know how many people don't even know about anti-mirroring, different types of tracking etc. Some people want to put minimal effort to marginalise as much as output they can get. I also learn everyday in this journey and just share the learnings I have aquired from mostly researching, practicing and implementing along with my own novel ideas.

    I do not agree on your take about overflicking. Both overflicking and underflicking can be the same physical motion, so they require the same amount of energy and time to perform, the only difference is the sensitivity. If you're consistently underflicking, you should try a higher sense and vice versa.

    • @kirasmith1147
      @kirasmith1147 3 дні тому

      Overflicking means that the momentum of your mouse must be completely canceled out, then moved in a new direction. When you underflick, you do not stop the mouse until the target is reached, you simply apply another movement to correct to the target. The momentum of your mouse matters a lot, because it requires tension to cancel that out, and that takes time - not much time, but comparatively much more than continuing your motion.
      If you're consistently overflicking, then you need more practice, not a different sensitivity, so long as your sensitivity is within the sane range & your setup is usable
      underflicking should be done intentionally as to prevent overflicking, but still attempting to land directly on target where possible - i wrote another comment about this
      There's a lot of theory about this, especially in the voltaic community / stuff that sprouted from the aimer7 guides
