These (B33, right?) have AptX LL. Did you check what Bluetooth codec connects your phone and the earphone? Would you still recommend these?

Nice set. I'm a pretty big Aukey fan, love their battery charging bricks and decent low cost mechanical keyboards. For my own use of this type I use the Brainwavz BLU-M2, a new set by my favorite low cost headphone/IEM company (do look into them, Matt, they love having good reviewers do reviews for them 👍). One correction, you said it's Bluetooth 4.0 when it says 5.0 on the product page. Great review, love the bloopers, poor Peter Paul Mary.....boo boos hurt 🤣
