For the hardest part of this job that is not shown, here is some help:
There is a cast in tab on the mounting ear at the top rear of the FEM. It is trapped by a plastic mount for several wire harness connectors. No amount of prying or bad language will allow the FEM to come out because of this. I found that by pushing straight up on this mount with firm force from the palm of your hand, the mount will "pop" from its bracket and out of your way. You can leave all the affected wire connectors attached to the plastic mount. The FEM will now quite easily come loose and give you plenty of room to maneuver and remove the module harness connectors.

II had a devil of a time moving the wiring harness. There are 2 clips at the bottom that move outward and then the entire harness slides down the 2” blade and out of the way. Unless you are an Oompa Loompa with very short arms recommend taking the seat out first thing so you can get in the car and under the dash. I didn’t and my side is bruised from sliding out of the car against the door sill.
I just installed my repaired FEM! Now it has a 5 year warranty for the work completed. Everything is working great.
I have a issue with my turn signals not working,and my steering wheel not tilting can you give me some information what it could be
