Centrifugation is a process that involves the use of the centrifugal force for the sedimentation of mixtures with a centrifuge, used in industry and in laboratory settings. This process is used to separate two immiscible liquids. More-dense components of the mixture migrate away from the axis of the centrifuge, while less-dense components of the mixture migrate towards the axis. Chemists and biologists may increase the effective gravitational force on a test tube so as to more rapidly and completely cause the precipitate ("pellet") to gather on the bottom of the tube. The remaining solution is properly called the "supernate" or "supernatant liquid". The supernatant liquid is then either quickly decanted from the tube without disturbing the precipitate, or withdrawn with a Pasteur pipette.[citation needed]
The rate of centrifugation is specified by the angular velocity measured in revolutions per minute (RPM), or acceleration expressed as g. The conversion factor between RPM and g depends on the radius of the sample in the centrifuge rotor. The particles' settling velocity in centrifugation is a function of their size and shape, centrifugal acceleration, the volume fraction of solids present, the density difference between the particle and the liquid, and the viscosity.
In the chemical and food industries, special centrifuges can process a continuous stream of particle-laden liquid.
Centrifugation is the most common method used for uranium enrichment, relying on the slight mass difference between atoms of U238 and U235 in uranium hexafluoride gas.

The text to this video states: "Centrifugation is a process that involves the use of the centrifugal force for the sedimentation of mixtures with a centrifuge" this is not true for the simple reason a rotating mass "EXERTS" a centrifugal force, it is not subject to such a force.

We are constantly taught that only centripetal forces like Ff and Fb act UPON an orbiting body like your orbiting particle which you show but there are no centrifugal forces ON the orbiting body itself. But you say repeatedly that there is also a centrifugal force Fc acting ON the particle? If so what could be exerting this Fc on the orbiting particle or molecule in the centrifuge?
Is it not more correct to say that the centripetal forces acting ON the particle are generated or donated by the liquid beyond the particle and that due to momentum conservation law a reactive centrifugal force Fc acts ON the liquid which donated the centripetal force and that there is NO centrifugal Fc ON the orbiting particle itself as you keep saying. The reactive Fc is ONLY ON the liquid beyond the particle which donated the centripetal force to the particle and equals negative Ff. The particle itself ONLY experiences the 2 centripetal forces. The 2 centripetal forces acting ON the particle namely Fb + Ff = Mass particle x W^2.R or Mp x W^2.R
Again, there is NO THIRD or centrifugal force acting ON the orbiting particle only ON the liquid beyond the particle equaling the negative of the centripetal force Ff donated by liquid to the particle. This need not appear in the equation given above.
The reason why large dense molecules travel outwards is that in the earlier stages the centripetal forces are not large enough to keep denser particles in a CIRCULAR orbit and there is a Velocity called terminal but is a form of PARTIAL ESCAPE VELOCITY. Its NOT due to a centrifugal force Fc ON the particle as you say.

Your explanation regarding rate zonal centrifugation is wrong..
Particles will not stop at any point they just separate according to their velocity. If u keep on centrifuging it,ultimately all particles settled at the bottom that's why we have to stop rate zonal centrifuge within short period of time
