- You can absolutely learn to sketch from scratch, no matter your age or experience level. In this video, I guide you through a slow, gentle approach to creativity that focuses on sustainable, mindful art-making. Together, we’ll explore how sketching can be a way to connect with both the natural world and yourself, recognizing the deep thoughts and emotions that arise when we embrace our creativity.
Join me as we sketch an elk eye, step by step. Whether you're just beginning or rekindling your love for art, know that you’re part of a supportive community of courageous, curious creatives. By honoring your wild, creative heart, you're not just making art-you’re helping make the world a more compassionate and connected place.
This calm, empowering approach is designed to encourage you to take your first step (or next step) in your creative journey.

So soothing, what a beautiful tutorial!
You're so lovely - thank you!
Thank you Natalie, I enjoyed this tutorial and look forward to more, thank you for sharing..
Oh I'm so glad Jenny - thank you for your kind words! Happy sketching!
I thoroughly enjoyed this! I feel I connect to birds and dogs. I’ve tried drawing birds and am ok with it, needs more practice though, but I struggle with dogs!😬
Oh thank you so much! Practice is the key - finding those big shapes and then whittling them down into form. You're doing wonderfully! Keep going, we need your art :)
