    @EddieTheGreat. 2 роки тому +120

    This is so funny I actually rented this car. It was the rs version which doesn't actually change performance it basically blacks out the grill and the wheels and there's a little red stitching. It annoys me a bit when car makers put performance badges on cars and don't actually change performance. Not the worst car tho. I liked the surround parking camera system. Also the rearview mirror turns digital if you flick the dim switch on it. I also rented the new explorer limited and I prefer the explorer. The materials just looked felt nicer in the explorer. Chevy has a problem of not wanting to risk it, look what they did with the trailblazer they could have brought it back like Ford did to the bronco, but they just made another crappy SUV that doesn't distinguish itself from any of the other crappy SUVs that Chevy makes.

    Also! You had it right on the money about the transmission. The 9 speed 2-3-4 gears are extremely close. So when you're doing an acceleration run from a stop it feels weird, but when you're at speed, and you floor it... Doesn't matter what speed you're going it's going to go into high gear and have the power it needs when it's at high rpms.

    I test drove a Traverse. My favorite thing about it was how comfortable the drivers seat was. I'm tall with back problems that affect my right leg. I had no pain while driving. I also love the room to haul cargo as I like to go camping.

    Me and the wife have an 11 LT AWD with 152k miles. Been mostly trouble free. Still looks and runs good. Very useful for hauling the grandkids around. Its major downfall has always been the gas mileage. Rated at 20 on the highway we have never gotten that. 19 at best 18 the norm. It has the 6 speed. We have a 2 car garage BTW

    I am a 2020 Traverse owner. We also own an Equinox, actually our third. My Traverse is one of the best vehicles I've ever owned. Ya it's bland. But, it's comfortable, drives nicely and has a ton of room. I "down sized" from a full sized v8 pickup and am actually very impressed with my gas mileage. We haul two large Labrador retrievers around in it and my one and only complaint, for the dogs, would have been a second row bench. We never use third row seating but try to find one at a dealership that doesn't have third row.

    We just got a 2014 traverse as a family car. We still have the grand caravan we used before it. We got the traverse because It had low miles and was a good deal (in todays used car market anyway). I’m very pleased with the way it drives. It’s kind of a dog, but it gets the job done and very easy and comfortable to drive. It looks decent if not a little boring, doesn’t really bother me though. It was a good fit for us because we need the space of a minivan but really wanted AWD being in Wisconsin, and most vans don’t have that. And if they do, they’re not cheap. I’m not 100% happy with the traverse, but I’m pretty happy with it. I couldn’t justify spending 10 grand more just to get something a little bit better. It doesn’t beat the minivan in cargo space though (100 cf vs 140 cf), but hell, not even a suburban beats a minivan for cargo. God bless stow n go seating. But so far it’s an all around pleasantly average vehicle. No complaints from me. But I can see why people see it as mediocre and boring.

      Probably a tiny generic chip that gets used in lots of places, likely several per vehicle. Some are used for critical standard systems, others for luxury optional systems. Since they probably can't get enough of them, they're robbing the supply intended for optional systems so they can build and ship another vehicle with the required standard systems. Otherwise they'd be waiting even longer to be able sell cars
