I'm so happy that the Sounds Of Dyn-O-Mite sound like a college band again. They sound very good and CLEAN. They did and awesome job. I'm ready to see them this season, especially at the Capital City Classic. Of course I'll be rooting to The Sonic Boom Of The South, but I'm glad there will be healthy competition! P.S. No band is better than a SWAC Band!

In this case, the golden girls are the originators of every move they did, the drum majors have spiced things up, the band has grown drastically in numbers and sounds like they are ready to shine this season. How about not going back to 2009 to look at Jsette videos, how about going back to the 70s, 80s, and 90s where you can really see how it started. There has got to be a class that all Jackson State students take called "Haterism" because it has become an epidemic on every great Alcorn video. People are really watching Alcorn "Check the numbers", this video already has 6,000 views in one day while I type. The mixing & blending was taken exactly from current moves that were choreographed by the Jsette captain of JSU 2009. That routine was innovative and created by HER ONLY. That's why she was hired in her post collegiate years as an HBCU dance & choreographer for kids summer camps, Currently. So you can have a seat with that 70's, 80's LIE. The Golden Girls did the Jsettes routines with a remix that's all lol. The exact field shows were referenced. I gave credit to the 2009 JSETTE captain Shanketta Newsome whom created those sequences. She has since been hired to train HBCU dance and choreography summer camps. She happens to be a friend of mine. So, I will NOT be giving the golden girls credit for remixing the routines Shanketta created!!!
I think it is important for Alcorn to know & see how pathetic these Jackson State fans are. Our GGs started this dance line stuff at HBCUs in 1968. The Jsettes got their entire style from them from the Nancy Boots to the Capes yet we don't go on their videos and vote all of them down. Jackson copies our 'oop oop' chant in 'We Came To Play' but we don't go search out every Jackson State video and vote it down. I could continue but I won't. The Prancing J-Settes have always had their own style created by Mrs. Shirley Middleton and longtime director Narah Oatis in the late 60's to early 90's. Mrs. Middleton and Mrs. Oatis BOTH had a professional dance background and created a style that the J-Settes have had for over 40 years. Although the Golden Girls started their dance style a few years earlier than the J-Settes. NEITHER squad had any REAL major fame or notoriety until the mid to late 70's. Most black majorette groups in the 60's were wearing Nancy boots (even the SU dancing dolls at that time) that were copied from white school auxiliary lines until their own dance style was developed.
