Welcome back to another emulation of the classic IntelliSTAR 1 from The Weather Channel. I went with a one minute flavor to keep things easy to make this time. Another 1-minute flavor, featuring some rather calm weather forecast for the Labor Day weekend. Also, featuring 2007 icons.
The IntelliSTAR 1 was one of several units sold to cable headend providers that were capable of generating local forecasts and overlaying music provided by TWC. The IS1 was officially launched for local forecasts in 2004, and retired in 2015, after TWC's "Weather all the Time" (WATT) rebrand. During its tenure, the IS1 received a handful of graphics packages. This video emulates forecasts presented during part of 2008.
The song is 3rd Force - The Gift. The song was previously used by The Weather Channel for Local on the 8s forecasts and included on the CD The Weather Channel Presents: Smooth Jazz.

I still prefer the classic Intellistar 1 over the new version. Feels a bit nostalgic to me.

Do ya know if there’s a way emulate a SD satellite local forecast (2011-2013). The current local forecasts is so bad. (2014- present)

I wish, but I don't know how. The national forecasts from 2011-2013 were amazing, definitely some of the best graphics TWC ever made.
