- Sonic Adventure 1 and 2 are both phenomenal games and arguably the best Sonic games. They deserve remakes with new graphics, models, and modern console playing capabilities. See what else I have to say on the matter.

I’m definitely down for this, though I feel like it would be best if the remake/remaster was done in-house rather than sourced out to a different developer like what happened with Colors Ultimate.

I agree with you on this. Sa1 and 2 are in my top 10 sonic games, and I feel they can become more popular if they were to re-release them on Modern Systems, as said before, ill try to get this out to as many people as I can.

Potentially, I could see these two games packaged together for an enhanced experience, so button customization should be a great starting point when it comes to abilities the characters have.
For Adventure, it would be nice if we have those 6 characters (that includes Amy) be playable in one go either in chronological order or in the individual way. Super Sonic should be accessed for trial mode which would find nothing but item boxes that contains rings, speed shoes and invincibility. Mission mode makes a return, but have it be visible and invisible for characters only so it'll be a bit easier for newcomers.
For Adventure 2, they could bring back Adventure Field, but as an option for those that liked playing about it, and they should have additional cutscenes on Hero and Dark perspectives perhaps maybe for Angel Island that was no longer afloat as someone used whatever method to cause a distraction from the guardian of the Master Emerald and then Knuckles gives chase. Amy Rose should be left out in story mode, but it doesn't mean she'll no longer be playable in 2P for a possible remake, and that's about it for me.

Sonic frontiers has made me rethink Craigsmith's version. His version in that game was top tier. He showed the perfect balance between emotion, seriousness, and humor.
We have passed the point of SA remakes being popular. I mean us older fans might love it, but a full remake in the next few years would probably be beyond what the younger young fans would care about. I don’t see them building out an engine UNLESS an SA3 is on the cards. Let’s see what Frontier’s does. I’d be the first to buy a SA remake, but if they do I can’t imagine it would be the same. Maybe a RE2Remake style but that will also not be…SA. Though I’m open to it. Maybe the next Sonic after Frontiers IS Adventure as a soft reboot remake. I can dig that, but first I need Sonic Team to prove they can still make a good Sonic game with Frontiers
That is if higher ups at SEGA allows Sonic Team to breathe and not split them up like last time.
I’d add Heroes too, making it a trio remake.
Oh yeah, I’d be so happy to see a heroes remake!

Am I the only one who doesn't see Heroes as the "Dreamcast Era"? 😅 It wasn't even on the system (but it did have the VAs, but that's it). Shuffle deserves that title, in my opinion!
But anyway, would LOVE a remake of both games! Not really a fan of SA2 but I'd like to see how it'd fare renewed
Yeah, and if anything Shuffle should have remastered treatment and actually shuffle (heh-heh) the difficulty for the AIs.

I have an idea for the box cover.
The art-style would be 2.D, Yuji Uekawa’s S.A.2 art-style.
Sonic (with his Soap-Shoes) in the center, with a cool pose.
Around him are three villain’s (sort off).
On the left is Chaos 0 with the water background, and a silhouette of Perfectto Chaos.
On the right corner of Shadow and a space background and the old space station covered in asteroid’s which is revealed in game.
A silhouette of Neo Metal Sonic in the more bottom right and a thunderstorm background.
These games could really make do for a remake. SA1 needs it more on a technical,storytelling presentation level. SA2 needs it more for the extremely linear level design the excessive amount of moves the sluggish speed of the mechs and the crap radar. Addressing those problems would put these games right up there with Super Mario Galaxy 2 and Odyssey for me. Which is the highest praise any platformer can achieve for me.

I would definitely get a SA2 remake if they made the controls actually good. One big reason why I don’t like it as much as most people.
The controls of the originals are a bit touchy. Take some getting used to. Perhaps it would be a nice option in the remakes to have cleaner controls.
SA2 Is my Favorete game of all time it got me though so much as a young teen and even now I love playing it
But I don't think we need "REMakes" of these games I think just putting them on Switch Xbox Etc will be just fine
because I feel like with the sonic movies they are already doing a Remake of some kind ((MOSTLY TALKING SA2))
and I feel like doing a Remake in a Same Vain as something like Final Fantasy 7 Remake Will still be way cool
but I feel like we don't need really any changes But that's just my take on it and this was still a fun video to watch

@@TheEternalSamurai Oh yeah, ports for the advance trilogy and rush dualogy would be good as well. I'm really enjoying Rush 1 from. What I've played so far. Maybe they could port games like Colors DS and Knuckles Chaotix as well.

@@TheEternalSamurai Apologies I didn't reply sooner, anyways, The only part I had trouble with so far is night Carnival 2nd act and boss, everything else including the special stages is going just fine (also note I've only played Sonics Story so far and I have altitude limit next)

If we get a remake... we're gonna need a few things and changes
*New script for character interaction dialogue
*Possibly 1-2 new stages for Amy maybe? (She has only 3 or so stages)
*Adjustment and additions to the Chao Garden that'd be a step up from SA2, but not to exceed too far (Perhaps a mobile companion app that allows you to passively level them, along with no required 24/7 internet connection for the chao garden itself. Possibly no online chao races because trust me, there's going to be SO MANY cheaters lol (maybe online private matches)
*Perhaps revitalize unused stage designs as bonus content
*Enhanced Mission mode
*Overhaul Big's playstyle to maybe incorporate underwater? He'd probably need all new stages, but I can imagine stages involving him swimming pretty fast through water would be kinda fun. (Think Zora Swimming from MM64)
Yeah, I’m with you there on the new script, at least better direction for the voice actors so the interactions between characters feel more natural.
Not a bad idea to have private online matches for the chao garden. I think public online matches still wouldn’t be a bad idea, but I respect your opinion though.
As great of ideas as those are, I doubt Sonic Team will do it.
They always cut corners, and instead of changing things they'll either leave it the same, OR just cut it out completely.
It wouldn't surprise me if they didn't even upgrade the graphics like Crash Bandicoot developers did for the Crash remakes.
I truly enjoy the Adventure Games and were both Way Past Cool. I know one day when I get Sonic Adventure 2 Battle for the GameCube again, I'll be able to beat the Biolizard and finally finish the story
They are my top 2 favorite sonic games so I don’t blame ya on how ya feel.
And hope you can finish the final story soon
