Aside from the creep side of him, I gotta say I think Dante was pretty dope asf too. I love his use of gravity magic and even the body magic even if it was annoying. Him just having a blast was kinda great to see too during such a good fight. Asta and Yami were also having fun fighting together.
l seriously can't believe the animators who did this were just fan animators before today. They have some talent and l see Studio Pierrot is in good hands.
And the clever thing is they aren't most of the time doing the exact same moves like they usually do in tag team attacks where they unexplainably conveniently read each other's minds and do the same exact attack at the same time (like it's mirrored). They do their own thing they are good at and coordinated their timings. Love it when they do it that way.

I really am proud of the way Pierrot has developed Black Clover's animation, which isn't something I've ever felt for a particular anime/animation studio before. It's like we've been asked to join the studio on a stylistic journey, and being able to watch that growth has been an extremely special experience.

It’s like the final love letter to the fans of this series by letting these debuting animators do this fight because honestly I was so hyped the entire time. i know it's not in this clip, but asta getting yami's katana is perfect. i thought they'd play op 1, but them choosing to do dead silence and breaking said silence with a quip from liebe and then having dante burst out of his body magic form from asta's slash was perfect
I love how despite learning all these new powers and such that Asta is still using his baseball-swing spell deflect. Like he didn't just forget parts of his kit along the way like how that happens in other anime sometimes.

Black Clover as always surpassing their limits, as each episode passes I realize that with the momentum battle action wise their proceeding at their current rate the big “announcement” looks brighter instead of brim.
