I think what should be acknowledged is that such situations are complex and are not black and white like we like to think. She had an entire existence in the world she was thrust in and in those years there was the bad but still moments of joy and good. Listening to others who have gone through similar experiences you see that they cannot completely deny the bond that was created against the backdrop of having been kidnapped. This is her story.... this is how she has made it through, has been able to heal and forgive and move on. We cannot tell her how to be or deal with a life we have never lived. This is her life and her story. I am just glad that despite the pain and suffering she is not a victim but a woman who is now thriving and living out her purpose.

I need this forgiveness grace of joyce. What my mother went through because of giving birth to only girls in a boys valued society is undescribable, My grandmother being top most champion on it. One day i will tell our story
This lady has a sweet spirit… you will go far girl, Thank you for keeping ties with those who supported you. God fought your enemies especially the raper… Unfortunately your mum never gets to see you… but her soul RIP after reunion. 👍

This is one of the most amazing stories, there is no words that I can describe her , this lady is extraordinary in her story she takes all the good from a bad situation and she gives thanks I love her
Joyce’s is a true definition of rebuilding and restoration she’s such a strong 💪 and brave lady. I thought maybe they treated her like their own kid but people are inhuman.
She was abductedat 5yrs, she new her home in Nakuru She now finished class eight, she still remembers her home, why isn't she going back to her parents in Nakuru?? Did they like sell her to this lady, the parents knew whoever went with her, why aren't they reporting this barren lady who ran away with her??
Joyce, please stop justifying what that woman did. Being barren/infertile does not give the anyone the right to commit the crime of kidnapping another woman’s child, to raise as their own. I am poor, but I cannot go steal someone’s money or anything else. Criminality has no excuse.
Listening to Joyce all through am so impressed and i was so sure she must have done somw renewing... Until she mentioned Alabastron and i knew .... Thats it. Alabastron is just God sent program. Every woman should try it. Were it not for Alabastron i would be in Mathare or on the streets collecting mapapers.

Her husband is doing a perfect job. Letw not forget this. Joyce atitude ,strenght and hope draws from this man. May God keep them together forever. I bless you.
This girl is soooo beautiful and amazing, with a golden heart. praise God for carrying her through it all and now using it as a ministry to other stricken souls. God bless her and keep her and her wonderful husband and family.
God does not endorse evil but He definitely can turn around what the devil intended for evil for our good. We can prosper without pain but God can turn pain to gain 🙌🏾
And here I am not able to forgive my friend who took my shoes without my consent in the morning and will bring them back in the evening🤦🏽♀️I need the GOD OF JOYCE in my life…thank you Joyce thank you Lyn so much inspiration ❤
I'm totally speechless...these are those mysteries of God that we hear about coz there's no way she's this composed after all that story. It can only be God. I hope her mother is happy in heaven now. I now understand what “Stockholm Syndrome” is. It is real, and it’s sad. It is the sad reality of child kidnappings. They bond with their kidnappers and they can never break free. They are forever victims, they just don’t know it. 😢🤨
@@trendinggossip8692 I think she has not gone through the right therapy to help her process what happened. Instead of seeing the crimes committed het, she is seeing everything as “God’s purpose,” 😏
Joyce you look sooo young am surprised you are already a mum of 2. You are a good motivational speaker and you can save lives by encouraging thise who think they cant see the light on the end of the tunnel .
Sis, I refuse your rational of an adult's behaviour towards a child as 'her own frustrations' . No. You were a child with no other experience. She created this exeprience for you. She was an adult. She knew better. You have to one day realise that part.
That’s her coping mechanism and what brought her healing. So let her choose not to be bitter about the whole situation. God can change our way of thinking and gives us a spirit of peace and calmness for the remainder of our lives. To God be the glory 🙏🙏
@@angelique6887 There is no problem. Infact she has been very strong to come out of the fire unscathed or not so broken so to speak. But one must not deceive themselves about the truth otherwise the healing will not be complete because the truth sets free. You have to objectively look at a thing and call the thing a thing. If anything, it will bring total liberty.
What would you like her to call it? She said it right, "the other woman had her own frustrations". This is her story she has not told anyone to see their abductor like that. It's her story. She has taken her life as it is. Good and bad.
Am angry that even after shes grown she still made excuses for that lady .I can only imagine the pain the real mother went thro and to think she passed away bf she reunited with her .😮

The way i see my sister in painful after her kid was kidnapped since 2018 up to date she have never found her ,,there is no justification of being barren ad taking someone child ,while thier parents are struggling to find her ,i wish those who kidnapped kids could communicate ad tell them to relax they have thier kids so tht the parents could not worry everyday,,we pray to God that one day we will see her ad united again its painful to lose a child from unknown people, sometimes you wil prefer if know the child is dead than knowing nothing at thier wellabouts ,

My favorite moment in this interview was at 1:46. Thank you Lynn for asking that question. I also don’t understand why she’d keep the name her kidnapper gave her. I am really disappointed by her choice to continue identifying with her kidnappers and abusers. I give up.
@@carolineg101 Many people have changed their names even after graduating from college. I don’t care what it’d take, I’d not continue using the name of a woman who stole me from my mom. No way. 😢
That would be your choice and this is her choice.I can assure you that if God hadn't protected her brain in this way,you wouldn't be seeing her here. She would be a complete bitter mess.

I lost my brother in sept 1996...Nothing compares to the pain of not knowing the fate of your loved one.mothers never move on...This is a story of hope...may we never give up.Thank you Lynn.
Hi Lynn even my big sister child was stolen at the age of 4 years old in mlolongo 4yrs ago see this gives us hope now my sister is mentally she is not okay 😢we still have hope and faith Fidel will come one day
She is a happy girl. She is strong. Thank you Lnny
You are awesome Joyce!
You’ve inspired me to forgive because I’m presently hurting; but after listening to your encouragements to forgive, I’m asking for grace to also forgive. Thank you Joyce. You’re indeed a blessing, God bless you. From Nigeria
Dear Joyce, your story clearly shows that no matter the evil God is able to transform lives and Africans are wonderful people
I need this forgiveness grace of joyce. What my mother went through because of giving birth to only girls in a boys valued society is undescribable, My grandmother being top most champion on it. One day i will tell our story
We are many...
Joyce is such a darling. Known her for a short time but can't fail to notice her pure heart. So proud of you girl
This girl is stronger than her story. I'm just in awe
This lady has a sweet spirit… you will go far girl, Thank you for keeping ties with those who supported you. God fought your enemies especially the raper… Unfortunately your mum never gets to see you… but her soul RIP after reunion. 👍
Team Joseph here we were sold out , forgotten, rejected yet loved by the most high Comforted and our lives were totally transformed, the only thing we do is forgive them, for they didn't know what they were doing.we are collecting the blessings and bouncing like nothing happened to us .one day and I say one day I will tell my story.
Inshallah 🙏❤️.
Hugs too
True some of us whatever we have gone through its only God who knows
@@martharinebiseko1457 hugs too
@@janetjully so true I have gone through everything that I became immune and stopped talking about what I have gone through.
Reminds me of the Indian Movie Lion, the boy got lost at 3 years old, gets adopted and moves to Australia and tracks his way back home 29 years later
Yes i remember that movie
It's based on a true story
Yes
That was one good movie. Brought me to tears.
This is one of the most amazing stories, there is no words that I can describe her , this lady is extraordinary in her story she takes all the good from a bad situation and she gives thanks I love her
This lady is so strong lynn...I really understand how God works in our lives through her . Her story relates alot to Joseph's story in the bible.
My brother was stolen when he was six years old between 2004 and 2005,, still trusting God that we will see him again one day🥺🥺
Cyber hugs ❤May God prevail 🙏
😭😭😭
May God bring him back to you
May St. Anthony of Padua intervene
May St Antony of Padua restorer of what is lost interceed powerfully🙏🙏🙏
Joyce’s is a true definition of rebuilding and restoration she’s such a strong 💪 and brave lady. I thought maybe they treated her like their own kid but people are inhuman.
why steal a child and not be able to protect her?that was soo unfair
She was abductedat 5yrs, she new her home in Nakuru She now finished class eight, she still remembers her home, why isn't she going back to her parents in Nakuru?? Did they like sell her to this lady, the parents knew whoever went with her, why aren't they reporting this barren lady who ran away with her??
My name is Joyce am inspired by yr story. I also went through a lot in live ad now am in US, God of restoration 🙏
To God be the glory.
Joyce, please stop justifying what that woman did. Being barren/infertile does not give the anyone the right to commit the crime of kidnapping another woman’s child, to raise as their own. I am poor, but I cannot go steal someone’s money or anything else. Criminality has no excuse.
Its called power of forgiveness
Considering of what the biological mother passed through all that period
@@agnesnyambwa8309 The right term for it is Stockholm Syndrome.
Very true
Very true, because she had the option of legally adopting a child from a children’s home..
Am 38 and I have hope of being reconnected with my biological father. Thanx for sharing your story❤
Have just come across this sad story. This lady is still so traumatized that even expressing herself is a problem. It is so sad what she went through.
WHAT GOD CANNOT DO DOESN'T EXIST 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
To God be the Glory 🙏🙏🙏
Listening to Joyce all through am so impressed and i was so sure she must have done somw renewing... Until she mentioned Alabastron and i knew .... Thats it.
Alabastron is just God sent program. Every woman should try it. Were it not for Alabastron i would be in Mathare or on the streets collecting mapapers.
After watching the whole story, what makes me sad is your biological mum dying before reuniting with you.
God why
Right? I felt the pain too. Possibly she died early from grieve.
😢😢😢saaad
It's really sad 😔 , it's been difficult 😢
This right here is the display of "taking your power back"!!! 🙏🙏🙏 May God be Praised!
Its high time people understand adoption is right
If they will rape the children then they should not adopt
I would love to hear her real parents point of view it must have been heart wrenching
Joyce Chepng'eno is a gem, sorry for what you underwent. Your beautiful soul will always guarantee you happiness. Be blessed.
Ngai FaFa! Ukistaajabu ya Musa utaona ya Firaoni. Ati kii?? I am peeling this story like an onion and just cannot fathom its entirety. Your level of forgiveness is 💯. Congrats 🎉 🎊! I wish you well. Lynn continue being you.
This lady is such a gentle soul 💓💓 she made me really 😢 listening to her story.
She's such a God fearing woman.
I've watched this with tears at the same time laughing, Joyce has a free spirit no wonder she forgave the perpetrators, I'm happy she reconnect with her biological family👏👏❤❤
Joyce's story is like a movie, watched it on kameme TV 2019. Reunion was December 2019 in karatina, inspiring but equally very painful
Her husband is doing a perfect job. Letw not forget this. Joyce atitude ,strenght and hope draws from this man. May God keep them together forever. I bless you.
This friend of her mother who disappeared at the time the child disappeared should have been looked for at that time. The mothers friend was a criminal
we all need GOD OF JOYCE.FORGIVENESS N PURPOSE GOD WANTED.
This girl is soooo beautiful and amazing, with a golden heart. praise God for carrying her through it all and now using it as a ministry to other stricken souls. God bless her and keep her and her wonderful husband and family.
This was so so deep. I can't comprehend this woman's mental strength
This is the mother of all shows for 2024@ LNN
Am seeing the whole biblical promises in Joyce. May she enjoy her marriage as if nothing happened🙏🏿
😂😂😂😂

I'm totally speechless...these are those mysteries of God that we hear about coz there's no way she's this composed after all that story. It can only be God. I hope her mother is happy in heaven now. This is one of the biggest stories that really makes me see what Lynn's purpose is and that it is a God given purpose.
They meant to harm you but God meant it for good. I like the fact that you concentrated with positivity and not negativity. You are a true woman of God reflecting the light of our saviour Jesus Christ. May our story continual crashing the head of the serpent ( devil).
I now understand what “Stockholm Syndrome” is. It is real, and it’s sad. It is the sad reality of child kidnappings. They bond with their kidnappers and they can never break free. They are forever victims, they just don’t know it. 😢🤨
Exactly, this is a good example of stockholm syndrome
@@trendinggossip8692 I think she has not gone through the right therapy to help her process what happened. Instead of seeing the crimes committed het, she is seeing everything as “God’s purpose,” 😏
Oh so sad 😢😢
I was just thinking... yes she has had Stockholm syndrome all her life... Sad
She is just a woman who God is using to teach on forgiveness,we who have not gone through what she has gone through might and will never understand.
Am angry that even after shes grown she still made excuses for that lady .I can only imagine the pain the real mother went thro and to think she passed away bf she reunited with her .😮
This is a good example of Grace beyond human understanding, this is why most of us can't fathom out her strength.Thank you so much for this 🙏
Joyce you are a strong woman i pray one day i will be able to reunite with my dads family.
The story has given me so much hope when i though i had reached the end
You are indeed a strong soul Joyce. You are such an inspiration of choosing how to respond to what happens. God continue healing you to perfection
I wish your biological family was also interviewed so that we can here their side too.
Yes. In a part 2. However they could still be in trauma.
True
The way i see my sister in painful after her kid was kidnapped since 2018 up to date she have never found her ,,there is no justification of being barren ad taking someone child ,while thier parents are struggling to find her ,i wish those who kidnapped kids could communicate ad tell them to relax they have thier kids so tht the parents could not worry everyday,,we pray to God that one day we will see her ad united again its painful to lose a child from unknown people, sometimes you wil prefer if know the child is dead than knowing nothing at thier wellabouts ,
Thats so sad, the ppl responsible for this should be held responsible
Wish you saw shirus family in njanjo, they were very affected
@@eddahwambui1306true even the mum died she had mental breakdown. I guess it's the pain of where her child went to

True it's so sad and bad to take someones kid,"Robbinson we hope you too we will reconnect may God protect you wherever you are 😢😢"my sister's son got lost when he was only 2yrs till to date 💔💔still praying God to intervine
It shall be well one day 🙏🏻
My favorite moment in this interview was at 1:46. Thank you Lynn for asking that question. I also don’t understand why she’d keep the name her kidnapper gave her. I am really disappointed by her choice to continue identifying with her kidnappers and abusers. I give up.
Remember she schooled with the names
@@carolineg101 Many people have changed their names even after graduating from college. I don’t care what it’d take, I’d not continue using the name of a woman who stole me from my mom. No way. 😢
That would be your choice and this is her choice.I can assure you that if God hadn't protected her brain in this way,you wouldn't be seeing her here. She would be a complete bitter mess.
@@nualisplaceForgiveness does not mean continuing to embrace those who wronged you, stole you, abused you……. You can forgive and still hold them accountable.
@@marynjau3439 Thank you, because I feel like I am crazy for feeling that this is so wrong.
I must say ALABASTRON prepared me for some of the toughest battles ahead. Life changed after the programme. Thank you team LNN for this. Joyce has grace from above. Mimi and my anger issues hata sijui.
I love this Joyce hungefika mahali umefika kama ungekaa Nakuru
The way kids are so innocent. As she talks, I imagine her fears at the time. I will not mistreat any child.
