The star center fielder met with reporters Tuesday morning at Boshamer Stadium, before the Tar Heels were to practice and travel to Charlotte, N.C., ahead of the conference tournament. Carolina finished the regular season with the league’s best record, and opens the tourney on Thursday against Pittsburgh.
