It made me cry and emotional and it was the opening theme.. Hadn't even seen the whole story yet! This is so beautiful simply and magestic... I'm so glad to have finally found this masterpiece. A huge thank you to everyone who worked so hard to get this incredible game for us, a game that shows the debts of what it really means to be human...❤️
I love detroit become human because androids across whole game actually do 3 things. Firstly they fight for identity, then they fight for freedom, and at the end they fight for life. And this is beautiful
Im 33 years old and I have played several games(close to 50) in my entire life. Detroit: BH is the most underrated game I have ever played. Sadly, single player masterpieces like these are not what the world desires anymore. They are dieing, slowly.
I loved discovering the game in videos along with some of my fav youtubers, but I would give anything to discover the game by myself, no spoil, no already seen scenes, nothing. Beautiful game.
Themes like this one REALLY bring out the emotions of the game... You could have the actors playing the part, but it's the music that drives it home... At least in my opinion... God this is beautiful...
*Detroit become human is a masterpiece because:* 1. It is set in no-so-distant future 2. It is set in the real world with just handful of futuristic elements 3. Every choice matters and might unlock or completely block you from one or multiple posssible paths you can take. 4. Teaches you the importance of your choices 5. Carl's speech in The painter sounds like he's talking directly to you than to Markus I am aware of all the storyline problems, but that's a common problem of most media.
As I played this game, I can't even image that out there, there is a game better than this. Detroit, is the most well made and amazing game that I ever played in my life. I found it intense, beautifully intense. It has a wonderful story behind and in general everything in the game was so good I cant even explain. I can't explain how I love this game
It's crazy how long I put holding this game off for. I'm not a fan of "choose your own story games". However, this semester in school I had to do a power-point project about a short story titled "Mika Model". I wanted to use this game as an example because, well... the short story is about an A.I believing she has feelings and thinks she's real, that and I also like video games but wanted to use an example to something I can relate to. I've NEVER played this game, but looked up reviews so I can have some notion as to why I'm using this as an example. During the review, I saw the scene with Kara, the father and child. I specifically used that clip (the one where Kara steps in and says "leave her alone"), and ended up getting a 100% on the presentation over all, and the professor REALLY liked the example... Fast-forward to now, I've played through half the game (been caught up with school work, but will finish it this summer) and man... this is the song that got me hooked, and Kara is the character that carried (initially, but now I love all the characters). If it wasn't for me going back to school and having to make a power-point, and now a final's essay for this short story, I would have never gotten myself into this game... something I'll never regret/forget.
The title says everything H O P E. I'm unable to write the physical feelings regarding this song.... I feel it in my tummy and my heart as well a kind of sad. Perfectly gives the feeling when you still need to hope even the circumstances don't let you…
Just Imagine, You riding a Car.... On the Passenger's seat.... Listening to music and that one particular song just ended and this Starts playing next.... The feels are getting to your Body.... Imagine as if... You were Kara.... ❤️❤️😍
This theme just makes me want to sit in the passenger seat of a car, look outside the window to see a city area, seeing homeless people and billboard ads
This…this is too nostalgic…i‘m crying…i used to play Detroit with my friends when in came out and we were all collectively simping for Connor…hah…the good old times😢
Listening to this while walking down the rain soaked streets of Singapore, watching cars speed along the roads and overpasses, the above ground metro line pulling into its station among the high rise buildings, people hurrying about their own lives, feel like I am truly within the game.
seeing everyone talking about how they wish they could play for the first time again and i completely agree 😔 take me back to when i didn't know what was about to happen
bro_litos 15 That’s because this track was not released. Months ago, a lot of people search the opening theme and they would just find the intro game or fan made version. But this guy was able to get his hand on it because he said a friend helped him and manage to get into the game file.
This fucking song brings so much emotion to the table. It supposedly ment to represent 'hopeful' according to when markus plays it on the piano in the chapter 'THE PAINTER', but it gives off more of a somber and/or lost feeling. Maybe if I think hard enough I can feel hope, but on the first listen, that's not what I feel.
The things I felt on my first and second playthrough of this game man... I've never felt such attachment to some fictional characters before, and don't think I'll ever have that feeling again. Makes me really really sad. Kara's storyline will probably stay with me for my entire life
I listen to this when I'm walking to class at Uni, today it's bleak with a slight sprinkle, and finals are today, we're all glued to our phones as we march to our collective destinations. As we all are glued to our phones cramming last second studying, I walk alone in this place most people unaware of my existence and watch. The collective mass of everyone and yet I know no one gives me a feeling I cannot describe, a sadness that I have no connections yet a happy feeling of freedom. This is the soundtrack going through my head.
Best soundtrack in the game hands down, says so much about the journeys of Connor, Kara and just the androids movement in general...just so hopeful, I hope who ever is reading this is having a beautiful day and lives a wonderful, joyful and long life 💚
This game, it’s music, and it’s characters will always be in the the back of my head to make me cry when I think of it. Especially my boys Connor and hank 💗💞
everyone is talking about how this makes them feel and stuff so i have some unique ones: waking up and having to get ready me looking at memes on my phone at 1% and then seeing the samsung logo fade away walking into a room and forgetting why you're there when you drop a gummy on the floor and your friend eats it ( true story, they are not my friend anymore ) going by somewhere only to see it's no longer there
A fact that I thought about Jericho. All deviants are desperate to get to Jericho, they think Jericho is a peaceful place and they can live in peace there. I think that in reality each of us is looking for our Jericho, a place where we will be happy, a place where no one will judge us. (much like the deviants seek) And so I think the culmination of each of our lives is to each find our Jericho, our dream place. That's what I think, and I think whoever wrote this story thought that too.
I hate sad music, but this is different, this is soal candy, this music make me want to cry, but I'm also happy. When I heard this song when playing the game for the first time it rocked me to my core. I'm not a music person, but this was just beautiful.
They say it's a great one when, after you played it once, you want to play it again. But it's the greatest only if, after you played it once, you wish you never did because now you're aware you can never play it for the first time ever again. Greatest game I've ever played, greatest music I've ever heard, greatest emotions I've ever felt.
Thats because in the left hand for both you have the same notes for a time. I know because I can play both. Well I dont know how to speak musically in English hope you understand me.
I never understood people who were saying "I wish I could play this for first time again" until I discovered Detroit: Become Human.

This is beatiful
This is the best game ever made, I swear.
Masterpiece. Thank you so much quantic dream for this game.
i don’t think i'll ever get this out of my head, it's just too beautiful
Its been 2 years when this game was released.. I can't believe that time passes this fast..
And its been 2 years when u comment this video
5 years now... 😭
@@StopSayingMyLastNameIsGrimes damn, i feel old
@@RiadRiad same 😢
I imagine listening to this song and driving through rain at night
This world doesn't like those who are different, Markus.
Don't let anyone tell you who should be..
I dont get how this was hard to find i just search detroit become human opening theme and it was the first video
bro_litos 15 That’s because this track was not released. Months ago, a lot of people search the opening theme and they would just find the intro game or fan made version. But this guy was able to get his hand on it because he said a friend helped him and manage to get into the game file.
ayyachris bless that absolute lad
bro_litos 15 omg i searched the exact same thing i didn’t even ask for this 😂
bro_litos 15 same
To me no debate possible, 1:20 to 1:55 is the absolute best part of this masterpiece..
This song is a masterpiece. It always reminds me of Hans Zimmers work.
Its the sudden lifts in pitch that make it seem hopeful to me
It feels sad and somber but almost like there is that bit of hope there
I can't believe that this game is 6 years old now.. felt like yesterday
We are rapidly inching towards this reality. In fact it already is.
The things I felt on my first and second playthrough of this game man... I've never felt such attachment to some fictional characters before, and don't think I'll ever have that feeling again. Makes me really really sad. Kara's storyline will probably stay with me for my entire life
Great thing is you can play again and again and get different story outcomes and paths
This is by far my favourite soundtrack. Huge love for Detroit: Become Human
THANK YOU! I LOVE THIS PLAYLIST, AND I HAVEN'T EVEN LISTENED TO IT ALL YET! THANK YOU! YOU ARE OUR rA9!
I have been waiting for this soundtrack dor so long. Glad to finally find it
I listen to this when I'm walking to class at Uni, today it's bleak with a slight sprinkle, and finals are today, we're all glued to our phones as we march to our collective destinations.
Best soundtrack in the game hands down, says so much about the journeys of Connor, Kara and just the androids movement in general...just so hopeful, I hope who ever is reading this is having a beautiful day and lives a wonderful, joyful and long life 💚
You too!
You 2 man and also all you had to do was to follow the damn train
@@lowee2114 ahh you got it, love to see it
2:41 WHY DIDNT NOBODY TELL ME HOW GOOD THIS WAS
Bro, just when I readed your comment I reach that part
This game, it’s music, and it’s characters will always be in the the back of my head to make me cry when I think of it. Especially my boys Connor and hank 💗💞
You look human, you sound human, but what are you really? -Hank
Listening to this while driving through Detroit. It almost feels like a vivid dream. We’re also going to be driving through Chicago too.
I listened to this the day we drove to my grandmother's gravesite..... a few days after she passed..... I miss her every day.....*sniff *💔😢
WE ARE ALIVE ✊
why is the best song unreleased 😭
Honestly Detroit become human and heavy rain are 2 of the best story games I've ever played
I come back here every now and again, I don't know why, I don't question it, I just listen.
This was in my recommended, I didn't even knew about the existence of this song, but now that i do, I don't even regret it
The melody (or whatever, I don't freaking know) at 0:48 was so good, wish it lasted longer.
2:40 best part
It is so fantastic all the way ❤
everyone is talking about how this makes them feel and stuff so i have some unique ones:
waking up and having to get ready
me looking at memes on my phone at 1% and then seeing the samsung logo fade away
walking into a room and forgetting why you're there
when you drop a gummy on the floor and your friend eats it ( true story, they are not my friend anymore )
going by somewhere only to see it's no longer there
A fact that I thought about Jericho.
This song brings back memories. Beautiful.
They say it's a great one when, after you played it once, you want to play it again. But it's the greatest only if, after you played it once, you wish you never did because now you're aware you can never play it for the first time ever again.
Greatest game I've ever played,
greatest music I've ever heard,
greatest emotions I've ever felt.
this almost sounds like the beginning of "comptine d'un autre ete"
And also like Endure by Ivan Castro
I came here because of that
I find it especially similar to Hometown Glory by Adele
yo lemme check that out
Thats because in the left hand for both you have the same notes for a time. I know because I can play both. Well I dont know how to speak musically in English hope you understand me.
So nostalgic. I miss playing the game..
