    This case looks great but I still sorta want the itx smallness of the tower 100, which apparently can fit a 4090, although with this case it might be more future proof since at least for me I'll probably have it for 10+ years.

    I do agree with the no panel to cover the cables from the IO ports..that's my biggest concern to have this case..this case almost perfect, but too bad they missed the perfection..Great video as always 👍🏻👍🏻

      Hi michaelbachinz, I'm working on my follow up video to this, but If i'm being honest, the lack of a cover there has bothered me alot less than I thought it would, I'm using a budgety B550 board in there which doesn't have 'any' covers in there and it actually looks pretty cool IMO....And I found this cool USB stick called the Flashotron 3000 to stick in there, it's just a ridiculous USB drive with 50's style blinky lights, but overall I've liked it much more than I thought. I'm still trying to design a cover of sorts, but i'm an amateur 3d modeler....haha. That video will be out in the next week or so I think.
      Thanks for watching and your feedback!!!

      budgety motherboard not the main problem since it must flip to install, i think high end motherboard will also has the same issue ( expose cables )...IMO
      From what i've checked The previous version from the tower series has a cover to hide the cables ( tower 100 if i'm not mistaken ).
      However this is the great case and i can't wait your next video once you done build it ( with the Flashtron 3000's usb stick of course )
      All the best for your channel 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

      Thanks Cali_Sense! I've been playing around with some ideas for the io panel area. I've got a build done in it and I'm finding it doesn't bother me as much as I though it would, but I'm trying a few different things to 'spice' it up, haha. I'm still working on a cover design, might take me a bit as that's not a strong skill I have, but I'll include what I have in a follow up video. Overall, I think it's a cool case!!! What is the footprint of that stand? I want to make sure it will fit on the top shelf of my computer desk.

    • @HardwareArtisan
      @HardwareArtisan  5 місяців тому

      Hi pdiz, great question. The stand itself is appx 18 1/2" wide by 10 1/2 in depth as it sits on the desk. That's just the dimensions of the base itself of course, the case takes up space beyond those dimension. As the case sits on the stand it takes up appx 23" Wide, 15" High and 15" Depth. Those are just a real quick appx measurement, I'd give it a bit of room beyond that. I hope that helps!!! Thanks for watching!!!

    This is almost the perfect case, pity you can't use an ATX motherboard. I have 420mm AIO which would fit nicely, But there are not too many Quality Micro ATX boards that use the AM5 Socket, that don't break the bank

    • @HardwareArtisan
      @HardwareArtisan  6 місяців тому +2

      Hi willpatog9001, that's a very good point, it is compatable with msi's project zero. It might be a little fiddly getting the cables in on the one side and you may have to forego the drive cage in the back, but it would look good....I'll point that out in my follow up video....maybe i'll try to put the MSI board in this and see how well it actually works. Thanks for the great comment and for watching!!!

    Interesting and useful! Again! (I just watched your TT Tower 200 one) Thanks! 😁 Very helpful to have someone walk me through the ins and outs of this case.
    I'm really tempted to get one to migrate what I can of my i7-7700 system into - when I feel like I can justify the upgrade. Part of me feels I should hang on until Microsoft finally forces my hand next year. On the other hand, if I go for it now I might still get 100 quid for the i7 and its weird proprietary HP motherboard/PSU and the OEM Windows licence they came with, in 18 months it'll have to turn into a Linux box along with millions of other newly obsolete machines. Decisions, decisions... 🤔

    couple things,
    You can get to the i/o from the top buy way of the two thumb screws on top and the bracket with fans will just fold/flip out of the way even when running if you don't hit the fans.
    I think a cover would/could look interesting in front of that i/0. The higher tier boards with larger heat sinks make that area not look so bad. (Rog x670e gene, Aorus b650 elite ax ice)
    I didn't know the fan bracket could fit both sides...makes for an interesting idea with fans. Especially if you make some type of water cooling build with a water cooled card and aio on either side.
    (speaking of that i cant seem to find the Depth of the video card area from the board in case you want those Huge brick 4090s, the length seems okay but will it stick out to far and not fit).
    All in all a great video. good luck on the build. cant wait to see it.
    Edit: the bumblebee case would match so well with an all asus tuff setup.

    • @HardwareArtisan
      @HardwareArtisan  6 місяців тому

      Hi jeremiegartner464, that's a great point, getting into that area isn't too bad just removing two thumbscrews provided your cable management allows easy removal of that panel.
      And I can't disagree, higher end boards will look better in that area, this budgety board I have in there doesn't have any covers for the I/O area, but overall, I have found that it bothers me less than I though, I kind of like the look of just the raw electronics right there, but i'm still playing around with a cover design and i've tried some fancy USB sticks up there with blinky lights (haha), it all looks pretty good. Yea, I haven't tried putting fans on both sides, i'd need another bracket, but could get ridiculously 'cool'....
      It's appx 4 inches from the left panel to the first slot, that's an appx measurement, i'll follow up in the video with a more exacting measurement. That's assuming you're mothereboard has the slot in the first position as well. In addition, it's appx 2.5" from the right bracket to the power supply cover, it makes putting a drive there difficult if not impossible with most AIO's.
      I've been tempted to get one of the bumblebee cases.....they look awesome (IMO)....haha.
      Anyways, thanks for the support and for watching, keep having fun!!!

    @LucDesormeaux 24 дні тому

    I agree. It would look much better with a cover to hide the cables coming out at the top. It's a bit of a miss on their part. Honestly, they should have sold the front cover with the LCD and give a cover for the cable instead.

    Thank you for your insight. I found it very helpful. I was considering purchase of this case. However I am afraid it might not be copatible with Liquid Freezer III 360 mm (my AIO of choice) because it's radiator is taller in the z axis then other AIO coolers. Do you have any means to confirm or deny my fears? You wold help me immeasurably. (The total height of Liquid Freezer III with fans installed is 66 mm)
    I know I can take the fan braket off, but it's how you said it looks better with it.

    • @HardwareArtisan
      @HardwareArtisan  6 місяців тому +1

      Hi szymonmarciniak6033,
      That's a thick setup, but I think you are correct, 66mm is a touch too big without taking the power supply cover off. the distance to from the bracket to the plate is appx 2.5 inches, 66mm is just over that. I currently have a icue link h150i 360mm radiator in there and it fits nicely, but doesn't leave alot of room next to that plate. At that thickness you'd have to take the plate out, or find some thinner fans....I hope that helps...that's a good thought to point out in the follow up video what that distance is....
      Thanks for watching!!!

    The only thing I'm not quite getting with this case is the airflow. Most other videos I've seen have the AIO fans, back and top fans as exhaust. and only the gpu fans and one at the bottom as intake. I imagine that would create quite some negative pressure and get lots of dust in...

    • @HardwareArtisan
      @HardwareArtisan  6 місяців тому +1

      Hi florianhug8069, I can agree with that. I've currently got it with all intake except the top tow fans. I've just barely started playing around with it, but so far its performing ok. I'll probably try switching the rear fans and see if it makes much difference, i'm not expecting anything earth shatteringly different as it's already performing about the same as this hardware normally produces. It's these times I wish more fans had the switchable blades to make it easer to play around with it, haha.

    BEST REVIEW ON THIS CASE! Or any case for that matter. I subbed just for how well this review was done! Also question: Did you ever make the 3d printer file for the motherboard cover? I just ordered one of these cases and I cant wait to start modding it and trying some ideas I have. I love case mods and exploring new cases. This one looks pretty fun! Currently my strix helios is just tooooo big for my desk and its time for a new case to play with.
    I hope you or some one has the 3d printer file for the cover, that would be EPIC!

      Hi cppctek, thanks for the support and feedback, that makes it worth it, I'm happy you found the video helpful! I have played around with some ideas for a cover, but I'm an amateur 3d modeler so I have not perfected anything yet and i'm not sure a 3d print would look great there now that i've played with it, but i'm still messing around with it. I actually liked the open look better than I thought. Another viewer suggest using the LC100 triangles in that area, not sure why I didnt do that, i've got a set here. Anyways, i'll follow up with a video in the future if I can create something worthwhile. In the meantime, good luck with the build, have fun! Let me know what you think of when you're done!!

      @@HardwareArtisanthanks for the reply! I’m not good with 3d modeling either lol. 😆 I have a really good Bambu lab a1 mini that prints like magic though in wayyy better quality quality than any others I’ve tried. I have an idea for a design that may work to at least hide the cables. I may measure it up and try making a template out of plexiglass or something and paint it or scan it some how. Keep us posted if you come up with anything or can show it off one day. A ton of people in my circle are buying this case now and want to find a way to customize it too
