He has appeared on numerous Gaither Homecoming shows, and his own Christmas special. In his hometown of Louisville, Kentucky, Harris has made many appearances on the WHAS Crusade for Children, a long-running local telethon benefitting children's charities.[4]
This man is gifted and highly talented. But what I believe sets him apart from many singers of the same caliber is that he is anointed by YAHWEH. What you hear is the voice of a man who has surrendered his soul, body and mind to our Heavenly Father. He is singing from a renewed heart. No-one is unworthy of the same. There is no-one so lost that GOD cannot renew his heart and re-build his life. Our Heavenly Father wants to bless all of His children. All is required is to acknowledge HIM as our Heavenly Father and surrender ourselves to HIM.
Does anyone remember a modally of songs with Were You There and other songs in it? It also had a recitation or narration in it about his crucifixion. It may have been all through His life. It was popular during the 1970s and early 80s It was one of my favorite songs to hear when I was little. It was played a lot on a Christian radio station on Sunday mornings and I always got so excited when it would coe on.
you'd be surprised to know how many so called Spiritual songs lovers who know nothing about Larnelle Harris. Simply because he's not among the lame stream so called gospel singers

I listen to a variety of music. Mr. Harris has an extraordinary voice. He is trained. But, he could sing soulfully! Love him dearly.
He is singing to an accompaniment tape. I believe that is the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir in the background. I have other music by him. This is not showing the whole service. So they probably think something else with him.
Once my director said, let God use you! Larnell may have hurt her too! Listen how he emphasizes while singing To God Be The Glory, that you gave that you gave that you gave, improvisation sending the point home that God gave his son for us. Hallelujah
