I understand. The gameplay with the new skin doesn't really emphasize that the weapons are alive, except for her two emotes. It's disappointing when the theme of living weapons could have been showcased more prominently throughout her abilities and animations.
GG MF isn't even that bad considering how it actually fits the criteria of an ultimate skin. A bit bland in terms of concept, sure, but it's a fun skin with fun dialogue that also expands on the lore of the Pulsefire universe.
I feel like the hate that GG MF got was completely unjustified because players were spoiled by Elementalist Lux. People who called GG the worst Ultimate skin probably didn't even know Pulsefire Ez was an Ultimate

It's called Samira Chromacrash, it has everything we wanted, different animations, a real good looking ult, vibrant colors and it's justified in his price. In this skin, Samira tags when walking, her homeguard animation is her riding a sort of weird vehicle. So yes, We, as League of legends players, are getting cucked recently, I still consider Odyssey Kayn worth of an ultimate skin and I still love the skin to death. But the Viego skin looks promising.
Oddysey kayn in my opinion is best skin in the game , animations are good looking and change depending on your current state, has 38 minutes of dialogue and they perfectly changes regular kayn s and rhaast s relationship from edgy to really funny to listen to while still keeping seriousness in their quotes. I love when kayn insults rhaast and vice versa i love how skin potrayes them both as kayn maniacally laughs at rhaast after defeating him but still says stuff like he is missing him and how rhaast despite wanting to destroying all reality wants to have fun doing so and is kinda thankful to kayn

Riot spaghetti code is to blame here. From what I know each skin is stored as an entire separate champion so when someone’s using an ultimate skin with several forms like elementalist Lux the game is forced to load a bunch of extra champions and the engine just wasn’t designed for that

Would also like to mention that the pentakill animation is entirely and i mean entirely recycled. The initial explosion is used on samira respawn, the confetti, the screen and the lights are both found in the final version of the taunt. The only thing exclusive to the pentakill is the screen turning blue.
I feel like she should have gotten an overlay on the screen that is similar to fighting games. Such as a healthbar and combo counter at the top of the screen. It would have brought something new and made it worth being a ultimate skin.

The problem is, they give legendaries to new champs like samira who already has good animations and not to champs like Zyra, Annie, Chogath, Nami, Nidalee, Elise, Lissandra, Syndra. Who need new animations and anyone who played them would get the legendary skin just to play their favorite champ updated. Hell if they just made a legendary skin for each old champ of their base model as an updated skin id love that and be ok with it until a rework but nope

Her red for could have a more aggressive animation, whilst blue more heavy of an animation.
other people have some brillant ideas, too. for example, she can AT LEAST have 2 versions, one is red and the other is blue, each has different emote, animation, vfx/sfx so on so forth. Honestly, I saw a comment that said this on Reddit, I think a sick idea to make this feel ultimate would be to incorporate the dynamic music concept from Devil May Cry, since she is already a walking DMC reference. Imagine how sick it would be for music to play while in combat, having instruments added to the score with each Style rank, reaching its peak once you ult and staying that way until combat ends. Would still need work on her animations but AT LEAST she would have something new!

I bought the Ezreal ultimate skin when it was released. Nowadays it's a bit outdated, but back then it was incredible that your outfit completely changed during your game - and in a logical way with that you become more advanced the further the game goes and you level up your ultimate. The icon was a bonus, although I don't care much for icons. This skin is just a joke, which is really disappointing. Although I don't play Samira much, she has so much potential with her kit.

Here is a free idea for the Rhito skin team, let the guns consume her in her abilities, imagine for her E, her red gun consumes her and she dashes as a red blur, with it fading at the end of the dash, her W her blue gun consumes her, whirling around, the skin change stays for a few seconds altering her abilities. Her red for could have a more aggressive animation, whilst blue more heavy of an animation.

other people have some brillant ideas, too. for example, she can AT LEAST have 2 versions, one is red and the other is blue, each has different emote, animation, vfx/sfx so on so forth. It was planned to be a legendary but they said they keep adding more stuff that makes it an ultimate.... but they forgot to check that a lot of these stuff is something that we barely see. Getting 30 kills and a pentakill is quite difficult, people will hardly notice the damage number

With Samira happens the same as Katarina or Yi... assasins with high mobility and quick spells. You're paying for just the model. Buy a Kata skin? It will only change the daggers. A Yi skin? The healing will have another aura. What's there to expect?
Honestly, I saw a comment that said this on Reddit, I think a sick idea to make this feel ultimate would be to incorporate the dynamic music concept from Devil May Cry, since she is already a walking DMC reference. Imagine how sick it would be for music to play while in combat, having instruments added to the score with each Style rank, reaching its peak once you ult and staying that way until combat ends. Would still need work on her animations but AT LEAST she would have something new!
yeah that would be cool, kda eve is an example, whenever she's in stealth, the music from popstars or more starts playing and I think in kda akali's shroud too, so they could easily make samira play music while she hits her combos
they only had to make it so when she points with a finger the gun levitates and shoots on its own, that would have been enough to make it a little bit unique and not just a chroma

Calling it an ultimate skin is a stretch but it's definitely a legendary im not sure if people notice but "modern" league champ get their animation reused for their legendary skin. Star guardian kai'sa and emperyean pyke reused a lot of their base animation with little to no change

This is actually the second time Riot marked up prices for less content. Valorants recent Black Market skin featured no new Animations, no color variants, no vfx, no sfx, no kill animation, no buddy, no card, none of the extras - it merely had a new interaction of having slightly different coloring depending on side with the addition of the new Models. And it was merely 10 bucks cheaper than the newest bundle that features new animations, color variants, vfx, sfx, kill animations, alternative models, a buddy, a card, MUSIC.
So this might be a trend for Riot. Reduce effort, increase prices.

I bought the Ezreal ultimate skin when it was released. Nowadays it's a bit outdated, but back then it was incredible that your outfit completely changed during your game - and in a logical way with that you become more advanced the further the game goes and you level up your ultimate. The icon was a bonus, although I don't care much for icons.
This skin is just a joke, which is really disappointing. Although I don't play Samira much, she has so much potential with her kit.
I've never realised the animations are so close to the original until now. That's crazy.
