In an interview, actor Michael K. Williams cited the impact of music when preparing for a role. For his portrayal of Omar Little in the HBO series "The Wire", Williams singled out this track as being significant in preparation for Omar's death scene.
While the beloved character was killed off with two episodes left in the series, the spirit of Omar lives on.
