Wow wow need more content cant wait see bigger finds 😮Excellent vid. Can only imagine what is down below ,Pioneers artifact civil war gold or sliver .Be waiting for next excursion with extreme hunter. Thanks for taking time video tape good luck to all of yous.
Hello history teacher! I met you down at Digstock. We primarily Civil War hunt, and have been fortunate enough to find some great stuff over the last three years since I relocated to this area. What’s amazing as I know that the XP deus with the 9 inch coil will pick up artillery shells and cannonballs at almost 3 feet deep. I’m wondering exactly how deep the extreme Hunter could pick up a belt buckle? I purchased one recently, but haven’t had the chance to test it yet. Just curious if you already have any information about this? Thanks I really enjoy your videos! 👌🏼
Remember this was a test video and our first time using it. Much like our regular machines big oxidized almost 300 yr old iron will cause problems. There is a lot to unpack with the settings and how they need to be adjusted for sites. Also different techniques in determining targets. It’s really a totally new way of hunting. I like it and really enjoyed seeing some of these deeper finds come out of the ground 😊We have more content coming as we learn and take the Xtrem through its paces. So stay tuned 👍😊
If you already have a GPX 5000 would you benefit getting this? I have watched (and measured with a tape measure) a 6 inch solid cannonball being dug at 34 inches, with the 11 inch DD coil and the GPX, do you think the Xtreme would keep up? It would certainly be lighter than wagging a GPX around, that’s for sure.
I do think it’s a great machine to have for certain applications. Hunted out sites loaded with iron colonial nails this machine totally ignored all the nails and surface iron and punched through deep ! It comes in just over 6 lbs. I saw a lot of deep targets on the site I was testing on but I was looking for shallow targets to dig with not much trouble. I will have more content coming so stay tuned. Thanks for watching !
@@southernrelicadventures the hunting I do with the GPX is more like DIV, except on private land. Do you think this would beat a GPX in that situation?
I think you answered it when you said it ignores the small iron, it would probably also ignore the bullets. But I can see it being awesome for hunting cannonballs.
@@JoeInMemphisalso looking for huts and colonial trash pits as well as possibly depression era silver coins that were buried in jars . Maybe even some hidden valuables from the civil war when the Union came through the south at some of the plantations. Just my thoughts on what I will be looking for ! Thank you for watching ! 😊

Great video! You got a workout digging those holes.😊

Nice machine!
I thought the xtreme hunter was able to to tell ferrous from non ferrous.

This is showing the cannon ball as non ferrous? Please elaborate.
If I have the Deus 2 do I just need to buy the Xtrem hunter coils and shaft?
Yes just make sure your remote is updated to 2.0

Maybe you could ask XP for a Peloton next. 🚴♂️
Yea digging deep holes and cutting thru roots along the way will get you for sure not to mention my shovel weighs more than detector 😂
Con una barilla y 2 imanes encuentro lo mismo.
You know you should be sifting all that dirt........I know I would be..........
Oh yes we got a button yesterday too. Everytime we dig some dirt out we put our detectors over it as well. But I would like to have a sifter too 👍😊
How much discrimination where you using
