- I won’t have a chance to fight in the OLYMPICS. 😢 This was a tough pill for me to swallow. I did a lot of good things on a huge stage like this 💯
I fought the number 1 Seed in the tournament and went to war with him. I’m proud of the performance I put on the table and I’m eager to get back out there❗️

I remember this exact feeling, sitting in the locker room at the back and just feeling soo broken all the hard work I put in to get to this moment I envisioned and losing. First thing brother own you lost no matter how it happened you lost the moment you own that fact and continue to work on your craft it will come. I call BS on the stoppage. Can someone please explain the standing 8 count and why it was called early? In my opinion, although the opponent landed a few shots, Dom was still responsive. He was able to continue the fight.

What is it, boxing is like 95% foot work 5% power. This dude is all power. Try not to get hit next time, not even with jabs, counter punches and jabs will win the gold
Exactly it’s because a lot of amateur coaches emphasize mostly on throwing punches and being in dog shape which is a huge part but being hard to hit and having good foot work is just as important.

Blue had the solid fundamentals, body mechanics, and composure. Props to red for hanging with him like that though, as he did well in a few exchanges. But blue did win the fight even if it went to a decision.
I wanted to wait until your full vid dropped to hear your coach throughout the fight before I said anything because I was very interested in your fight and your career. When I watched it live I was rooting for you but I noticed you weren't throwing any 1-2's. Just letting you know your opponent respected you enough to not go for the stoppage until the third round. Your fight was closer than some fights that go the distance, and I personally didn't like the stoppage. I think it should've gone to decision, and I think you should treat it as such. You did well, you made mistakes you cant let yourself make again, trust your training and trust your coaches. I had a similar situation I got stopped in R3 in my first exhibition fight against a 9-0 amateur with much more experience than me. But we all bounce back in life or boxing. Its not like other sports where even if you do well you can still lose and vice-versa, boxing is all about your personal performance.
You know what you need to do but in my opinion the most obvious is psych yourself out into being excited instead of nervous. Stop training so hard before the fight, you did the work in camp you should've been healing and resting that week. Your next fight you have to tap in to that natural performing feeling.
