I like his ideas man. Just didn’t had the players for it at Burnley. Also naive from himself ofcourse. I don’t think this appointment is as strange as people make it out to be.
Great work as always would love to see McKenna and Ipswich next would be really interesting to see how you would handle recruitment for a newly promoted side as well as McKenna being one of europes potentially elite managers
It's not really that different. Pep changes his system for every game, and makes countless of tactical changes during the game to give him an edge. It's still a 4-3-3, but it can change into a 3-2-5, 2-3-5, or a 3-4-3 box or diamond. There is no one-size-fits-all tactic when it comes to Pep. The only players with roles that tend to stay the same are Rodri and Haaland.
The biggest Problem Vince will have are the grey eminences in the background. Afaik the Olise Transfer has not been confirmed and there is word that those i mentioned are not happy not being involved as heavily in the transfer doings, namely ito and Olise. Would not suprise me if in the end they do not signe olise but chris Führich, because FC Bayern Deutschland and nobody is allowed to do different than the senile old... whatever. In theory this could be beastly, especially because however you wanna put it there is a significant "Skillgap" or "Quality gap" between Bayern and the rest, that the relegated Burnley side in the Championship actually works better as a comparison than the Prem version. Regarding transfers, i would love to see Zubimendi, but Onana would be okay, he is younger and i would think Vince could impact him greatly form Belgian to Belgian. When it comes to the offensive "rotational option", i know i am under the impression of the Euros, but Mikautadze would be the perfect accompanying piece for Kane and especially as a great rotational/first sub option, somewhat of a Muller replacement if you want but one that can actually stop the ball :D
Is it possible to really see how a tactic is working without actually watching the games? How do you know which roles,PIs, TIs are effecting the tactic?
He did an OK job at Burnley in the championship but was below par in the prem considering the money spent and lack of quality in the bottom half of the league. Will be interesting to see how his tactics work at a dominant team where anything below 1st is a failure.
One thing I failed to mention was his backroom staff. Especially his assistant Rene Maric who knows what he’s doing. Maybe with “better tools”, he can show his potential but we know, football doesn’t exactly work that way
Agreed but explained why a 4-4-2 in FM. Kompany 100% will defend in a 4-4-2 regardless and the only way to do that in FM is by using a 4-4-2 (or 4-2-2-2/4-2-4). In FM, your formation will be your defending shape. The roles will determine the in-possession shape - besides, more fun to create a 4-4-2 as other tactics have been a 4231/433. I just sensed that it can get boring for some
@@RDFTactics this is definitely one of the things i hate about the game, cant pick a defensive and offensive shape, the vast majority of teams defend in a 442 (unless using a 3atb formation) and you cant simulate this in fm without just playing a 442

De Zerbi in Marseille next
He did de Zerbi recently Doubt his ideas will change much from 2 months ago de Zerbi is a very rigid manager in terms of his ideas

Skin name
Remove tackle harder and your tactic will be useless. That's my opinion
🤣
If it works with tackle harder why remove it and why complain/cry about it?
🧐 doubtful
💀
On the maresca tactic you spoke about RDF using tackle harder just don’t watch the vids.
Weirdo.
and 6 days later bayern are heavily linked with bayern 😂
