- Here is my 1978 New Yorker. It is an original 18,000 mile survivor from Butler, PA area. I am the third owner. It was originally owned by two older couples who only drove it on special occasions.
I saw it on E-Bay and could not pass it up. It is in absolutely pristine condition. I recently spent 40+ hours detailing every inch of it.
Chrysler went to every extent to make it the most luxurious and optioned car available at the time. This has the 440 4BL lean burn.
Paint is the Spinnaker white with cobalt blue velour interior and vinyl top. Everything works perfect and is flawless from front to back. ENJOY!
I believe these vintage Chrysler New Yorkers were among the best looking luxury vehicles you could buy back then. They were huge, but had style and grace, verses Cadillac and Lincoln boxy Town Cars. The interior luxury was beautiful with the brougham seats, and this example shown in the video with the while and matching blue roof with interior was stunning.
What a beauty. I want one.
moi j'aime les produits Chrysler
These were CLASS rides!
Beautiful mothership with the baby blue interior.
This was my first car! It was like driving a luxury tank! Thanks for posting :)
I love to see these with the optional VENT windows in the front doors.... which cut down considerably the turbulence within the interior!
j'ai me les produits Chrysler de cette époque Marc pelchat
Even in the so-called malaise era, a land yacht still WAS a land yacht. No two ways about it!
....it's like driving your "living room" ..
Beautiful car
Good seeing your at Carlisle. Great Car!!
Thanks! Good seeing you too. I just checked this account for the first time in a while. Randy
c'est une très belle voiture que j'ai me beaucoup
They mixed the contemporary along with a certain chrysler old style elegance which in my view gave them a solidity as opposed to the chintzyness of the caddys and lincolns of the day
qu'elle magnifique voiture de Marc
Imperial LeBaron by any other name.
I had a '77 New Yorker Brougham (ex-wife BEAT the poor car into the ground, but this took MONTHS of HORRID driving!) The '78 was basically as good, except for those with the CRAPPY "400"!

The last REAL cars wr built in the 70s, the majority from 80s-today I don't know what the hell they R, miniature space mobiles with 4 sadass wheels I gues but some 80s and 90s cars R still badass cars and a little few today's brandnew cars here and there with V8s too but nothing like the majority of 70s cars and older they have no defects they R perfect everything in one, I own a 1977 Oldsmobile and a 1988 Lincoln Town Car, I've had newer cars but I hate those they R something else boring and SUCK fells like driving a girls 🚗 car LoL
