Hi, I just bought your app on my "sofa iPad" to check it out, looks great, exactly what I need to help me get a more consistent and developing practice routine. However, I also grabbed some add-ons, and everything looks okay BUT when install and open the app on my "Keyboard Lab iPad", the add-ons are not accounted for and the "buy" buttons are displayed.... HELP! (And yes, I only have one and the same Apple ID/Account that I use for all my apple devices, the app opens up correctly, available under my "purchased apps" etc. in the app store on all my devices.)

I've been doing this on "On Green Dolphin Street" and can play Step 1 fairly easily but Steps 2 through 7 are taking more time. I haven't felt the chord tones come out in my playing yet on the bandstand. Can I begin on Step 2? Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
As a beginner on piano coming from guitar it blows my mind how much mental work is done in real time, seemingly effortlessly, and all I can do is keep practicing and hoping to get there.
I hear you, although not so different from guitar (just new patterns to learn). The thing that blows my mind is coordinating two hands. I'm loving it though - hope to apply a lot of this to guitar.

Long story short, I attend a Christian Reformed Church (formerly Dutch Reformed) because I believe it is the most "theologically correct". I came to that conclusion by reading lots of books on theology. Before that, however, I attended different churches and played piano in a Pentecostal church. I have an ongoing joke about being Christian reformed in a Pentecostal body. (I'm not at all trying to start a theological debate here or convince anyone. I just want to learn to play jazz. ) A good example is "Go tell in on the Mountain". I know there are many jazz arrangements I can learn from just reading the music. But generally speaking, I'd like to be able to take a standard tune and play it jazzy. How do I do that or where can I learn? Please advise!
This was the first of your vids I discovered which led to many more of your lessons. This one is amazing how much this has helped my 'anticipation' and flow! Learning to hear the target note(s) before the transition is challenging but really contributes to the smoothness and economy of movement! As always, thanks!
This is a splendid extercise, i think, for piano. Ive found, however, that i struggle a little bit on instruments with a more limited range, such as saxophone. Here i tend to drop out a lot, when i focus on up-down/ down-up. This happens, because i need to think about not running out of instrument. I've found that in these cases, it's an appropriate modification to take the range into consideration and switch directions, when the instruments asks for it, try to play continuously up and down the register and try to stay with the chords.
Now that's a pretty good exercise. Structured but flexible, if done at all consistently very likely to help you get around the keyboard better. Wouldn't do me a bit of harm, I'm pretty sure. Well done and thanks.
First of all, mDecks love your piano playing -- and approach to music and prowess of improvisation. Your 7 step exercise is revolutionary - I understand the musical concepts and reasoning behind this exercise .. getting out my clarinet and putting this wisdom into immediate effect! Thank you.

Did you go to the add-on and click on the “restore purchases” button in the device that are not showing up as purchased?
