Hornets and wasps I said a trap out for them all the time get one of those big totes that you store stuff in the winter in get a plank of wood and two chicken carcasses and fill that tub up with water and a lot of dish soap let it stay out in an area that you don't travel much around those walls will go up to it go after the meet they'll eat it and then they'll drop it out into the soapy water and they're gone did it every year never had a problem with them after that
I sure wish I lived close to you some very interesting stuff you get in you best not stop putting videos out winter coming at I have something good to watch winter days are long
I worked in the sign industry for 46 years. We shipped a lot of neon tubes out, pumped, shaped and ready to go. We had to build wooden crates for all, shipping some up to 20’ long. The neon survived unless the truck was in a roll over and fire. Yes this cost money and time to do but if the customer is willing to pay….. it can be done. For a rare needed piece for a restoration the restorer would pay. I really enjoy your videos. I am recently retired and if I was a lot closer I would love to spend time working in your yard just for fun. Keep up the good work. From Manitoba.
I had one of those Trackers back in the mid 90’s, that was the best snow vehicle I have owned. Way better than all the other 4x4 trucks and big SUVs I have had. Terrible on gas and about as strong as an aluminum can, but it would go just about anywhere. Enjoying all the videos. Stay safe. Peace
I have a GMC truck like that, a 1961 model 4000 with a 305B V6 in it and a John Deere No6 corn sheller mounted on it. Got it on an auction out of Nebraska, the engine ran, then stuck on me. Hope to get it going again by next fall!
Honking Train just for Silas - ah ! Nice Car Crushing and Camper Van Demolishing - that Combine Harvester crumbled up like Nothing - very Exciting ! Bumble Bees moved to another Town - ha ! This was a Brilliant Video - soooo much Variety - Loving it ! Many Cheers from Australia !
The little procelain sign like that one on the combine are usually good for $25 - $35 US. But I hear ya, when dealing with heat, fatigue, etc sometimes things just seem to not be worth the effort.
It's amazing how the markets are so different from Michigan that S10 would have sold for 700 here. They rusted out so bad, but were such good vehicles and nobody makes an affordable small truck anymore. I hope you put that T model Ford frame on a flatbed and stack it out back, always interesting to see what you find.
Should save all the grain spout them flexible hose type that come from box goes to the disc that transfer the Grain to disc you can't buy them most fit every model drill and the wheels sell for 100 a piece
The bumpers off of that yellow Pontiac, as well as those turn signal lenses if they weren't cracked or quite valuable. I know this because I had a Monza and it took me forever to even track down a replacement front bumper.
OMG! I can't believe you didn't see those left hand thread bicycle spokes at around the 25:50 mark. I would have paid $1.00 each for about 10 of those but probably couldn't afford the postage back here to Ohio. 🤣 Like your vids and understand about selling parts. You have more rust free parts than where I live but getting them from there to here would cost way to much. That's life!! People need to understand that.
When you processed the paratransit van it really showed why the scrap yard pays us next to nothing for our junk vans. They are all fiberglass/wood/trash, and very little metal.
I knew if I watched long enough I would see an Oliver. Would ride with my Aunt as she would crop the small parchels they had. Kind of would liked the seat to late though. A gallon of ice tea wrapped in a saltwater-soaked towel to keep it cold. Great fun for me!
You should just go through the whole yard and gather all the change see what the coinstar brings and maybe roll the quarters for the bank that would be a interesting episode.
Looks as if those old campers are made of match sticks and the glue has gone off, also just wondering as you have never mentioned, what do you do with the freon in the AC systems, over here it has to be recovered along with all other fluids/gases/oils before they go to meet their maker. Keep yp the good work.
Hey Silas have you ever thought about trying to save the rearends off those rv's seems like there would be a use for those since they're so heavy duty?
The rules say we have to blow through the entire crossing. When you're going really, really slow, that is a long time. I hate doing it, especially at night, be we have to. I would guess that you could probably study all of us in my depot and eventually figure out who is running based on how we blow for crossings. Much like radio operators could tell who was tapping out morse code.
Oh I got nailed by a yellow jacket that built a nest in a car mirror. My cousin was taking a part off of that car. He didn't get stung. I sure did thank goodness I'm not allergic to bees. Yellow jackets and Hornets are the worst. They don't lose their stingers.
Dear Mr. Silas 👍👌👏 2) Maaan, I would love to see those rare Plymouth wagons saved respectively made 1 good out of two. Fortunately that seems your intention too. 3) I always wonder why you don't at least cut off the noses and trunks from for instance the Mercedes W123, 124 and 126 types. Don't they sell well? It's obviously very different how Mercedes cars/parts sell in Europe and in other parts of North America. 4) You once mentioned several times, that you're not a good excavator operator. That has obviously changed a lot since you gained a lot of experience. Meanwhile you are a really good excavator operator. Congrats. Thanks a lot for making explaining recording editing uploading and sharing. Best regards luck and especially health to all involved people.
I’ve sold one Mercedes nose and it was much older. The 80s and up Mercs just do not do well for me. I’ve had so many bad Mercedes experiences that I think I have a vendetta against them now 😆
What was up with putting that bus into the dumpster? I thought you were maybe putting the fiberglass portion in, but then the chassis was also put in there.
I know you got to do what you got to do but if I had to buy one of those tail light fixtures for my Tahoe and it probably cost me $200 and there it goes to the metal melters
Which is worse, hornets or bumble bees?
Hornets/wasps
Hornets and wasps I said a trap out for them all the time get one of those big totes that you store stuff in the winter in get a plank of wood and two chicken carcasses and fill that tub up with water and a lot of dish soap let it stay out in an area that you don't travel much around those walls will go up to it go after the meet they'll eat it and then they'll drop it out into the soapy water and they're gone did it every year never had a problem with them after that
Hornets.
Tuna comes from bumble bees, I like tuna.
👍🤓
hornets
Hornets for sure
The 66 Red Ford Custom two door looks really nice. Those were my favorites.
Those grain drills make great yard signs ,paint the name on ,take the lids off fill with compost and wild flowers .👍
Observation: if you put a Mercedes in the crusher, Mercedes Bendz.
Why ? They are junk now .
Underrated comment. 😂
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
If you plow a Volkswagen into the ground it becomes bee-till

U have a fantastic day also silas excellent video cheers 🥂 😊
😎
Super cool wagon at @9:05!!!
I hope somebody rescues that!!
If Batman settled down to have a family this would be his grocery getter.😅🦇😂
More good footage!
My best friends Mom and Dad had several grocery getters back in the day. His Dad had a 1965 Plymouth Belvedere wagon. It had a 318 wedge in it.
I bet that Trans Van has some value in certain circles
Honking Train just for Silas - ah ! Nice Car Crushing and Camper Van Demolishing - that Combine Harvester crumbled up like Nothing - very Exciting ! Bumble Bees moved to another Town - ha ! This was a Brilliant Video - soooo much Variety - Loving it ! Many Cheers from Australia !
That little 4 door Dart? WOW! Have not seen one of those since early 80's when there were still a few around.
It's unbelievable the old trucks and machinery that you get in
Thanks 👍
Looks like those campers are more trouble than they are worth !
Love that Plymouth wagon wishing in Whyalla
The little procelain sign like that one on the combine are usually good for $25 - $35 US. But I hear ya, when dealing with heat, fatigue, etc sometimes things just seem to not be worth the effort.
Those Mercedes Benz sounds so good in the crusher
Good luck Silas watch out for bees buddy
Gotta keep the crusher fed!
Even burnt and crushed, that ol 20s Chevrolet truck is still working...hauling the combine and Pontiac to the mill!

Good work on all the Campers and All
Sad to see that Astre, I have a '75 with a SBC. neat little car.

I'm from Michigan I know what you mean..
Time for Thursday’s dose of AMFS!
Have you ever taken a running vehicle and put a brick on the gas pedal for an engine blow? That would be killer content.
Great job Silas
Got your own fan club!!! You made it to the big time!
Absolutely great video !!!!!
Lol bbq flammable front clip that gold lol
Hello Silas. I hope you’re having a great day . I just watched you crush a few Mercedes. It made me smile.😊😊😊
Should save all the grain spout them flexible hose type that come from box goes to the disc that transfer the Grain to disc you can't buy them most fit every model drill and the wheels sell for 100 a piece
It looks like you COMBINEd all the pieces together of that combine. Now it's a combined (combine) pancake. Lol.
The bumpers off of that yellow Pontiac, as well as those turn signal lenses if they weren't cracked or quite valuable. I know this because I had a Monza and it took me forever to even track down a replacement front bumper.

NOOO!!! Not the blue Astro Van! 😢😮
When you processed the paratransit van it really showed why the scrap yard pays us next to nothing for our junk vans. They are all fiberglass/wood/trash, and very little metal.
Hey Silas where do these bundles go after you ship them out of your yard love your videos 😊
They get shredded, then the sorted materials go to various foundries or overseas
Thank you for trying to save as much metal as possible from those campers. Crushing videos are my favorite.👍👍👍
I knew if I watched long enough I would see an Oliver. Would ride with my Aunt as she would crop the small parchels they had. Kind of would liked the seat to late though. A gallon of ice tea wrapped in a saltwater-soaked towel to keep it cold. Great fun for me!
This Video is dedicated to the guy that wanted to buy all the Mercedes 😂😂😂
Thanks for the crushin Silas, you know I like it.
Where does the box go when full? 😊
Great video
That wagon neat lots of good parts hard to find
watching you crush car reminds the day I worked at a wrecking yard we had a 40 or 6o ton drop door crusher
Good video Silas!
2 Longs a Short & a Long !!! Train Horn at a Crossing.
Tanner grab the station wagon.
Wish I could still get around good. I'd buy all those tires and sell them in the South at flea markets.
Great video!
Very interesting video today
Alright!! Crushing!!
Silas,
Drag a motorhome over the dumpster in one swipe.
It might look like this moment! 35:54
Great technique on flipping that Ford camper in the dumpster. Ashame for that 20's Chevy truck.
Dang buddy you could probably thread a needle with the crane great vido
video a short clip of the action at the grain silo at rear pleae.
COOL!
That truck rips apart like a shell on a shrimp
I wish in oregon you could do Rv's that way out here got 2 hazmat test
It amazes me how much wear the new crusher has on it.
This is a 2012 model
I love your videos thank you
😊

Wagon needs a Hellcrate motor!
Build a sleeper!
Hey Silas have you ever thought about trying to save the rearends off those rv's seems like there would be a use for those since they're so heavy duty?
You got your crush on, great stuff
35:30 you seriously wouldn't want to be in a rollover in one of those!
MAN!!! What I would give for some of those cars you have brought in there! To bad your so far away. Shipping to Ohio would get expensive.
Planes, Trains, and Automobiles!
Well….that is certainly something you don’t see every day!😀
Great video :)
I enjoy seeing the piles of random rusty metal disappear. Showing the bare soil post crushing is rewarding. By the way, I love the trains!
Wished I lived a little closer ,truck parts sell good in ky
NOOO!!! Not the S-10! 😮😢

I had a white Pontiac Astre many years ago. I had it for 3 years. The engine went. I had no idea that I could have put a small block v8 in it.
Oh I got nailed by a yellow jacket that built a nest in a car mirror. My cousin was taking a part off of that car. He didn't get stung. I sure did thank goodness I'm not allergic to bees. Yellow jackets and Hornets are the worst. They don't lose their stingers.
I think them pt crusers are going to be worth some money
Never
That was hard to see those rust free Mercedes get crushed.
35:30ish looked like ya deflated a balloon.
@7:07 somewhere a Canadian is pissed at seeing this while needing it, lol
Should have cut front and rear end off of Pontiac Astre, would have made cool wall hangers!!😢
Thank you Silas. A good name for your crusher would be Captain Crunch.😂😂😂.
Dear Mr. Silas

You have a little blue econoline pickup interior your yard. Can I buy the heater box out of it?
Finally a video of cars getting crushed without the forks holding it in. I knew they don't just squish out.
Does anybody think of the play set that was called 'Clyde's Car Crusher' while watching this?😊
32:22 ,transform those Bumblebees 🐝🐝🐝 into scrap
What was up with putting that bus into the dumpster? I thought you were maybe putting the fiberglass portion in, but then the chassis was also put in there.
I painted an old Oliver Row Crop tractor. The guy bitched it wasn't the right color green.
I then found out later he was red/green colorblind. 🙄
😅😂
I know you got to do what you got to do but if I had to buy one of those tail light fixtures for my Tahoe and it probably cost me $200 and there it goes to the metal melters
Wassup
I notice more of them wagons are coming around see some go threw the Barrt J auctions for big money
Pontiac astre
