I was out there in late Feb. 2020. Never really saw anyone give a direct answer on where this is exactly at or how to get there so I left a review/directions on google maps. If you search "Haunted Barn" in Palmdale, CA it will come up. Nicholas since you been out there the barn looks the same. The house has been painted completely white. There were shot gun shells on the porch. If you were to walk into the house patio and go left someone had kicked open a hole in the wood. It was a little creepy. According the LA County Property Assessors info, the house was built in 1910 and is two bedrooms and 1 bath. Someone bought it in 2006 for 157k.
Thanks so much for keeping us all informed. Going to pin your comment so that it’s always on the top.
Nah. O you werent
Does qnyone still own it
@@jon.jon.bethea6841 Yes someone still owns it for sure. I passed by it 3 weeks ago and could see it from the freeway. It looked cleaned up compared to the last time I saw it 1 years ago. Someone paid 157k for it in 2006 according to LA County. There was also nearly 7000 in improvements. My guess is someone purchased it before the real estate bubble exploded.
This is the remnants of the Courson Ranch from the 1950s. Courson, one of Palmdale’s leading citizens in those days, first opened a motel along Sierra Highway and then a hillside guest ranch. Both were known as El Rancho Courson.
Like seeing the outskirts of untouched palmdale. I love roaming into the abandoned areas while smoking up. Lol
Ever since I moved to Palmdale in 2001 its always been abandoned, always grabs my attention everyday we drove by on my way to work 😎
I used to live in the trailer park right next to it an old white couple used to live in it with horses they never talked to anyone but it was occupied until about less then 10 years ago
@@robbie1898 Maybe they met their maker
In 2015 my dad showed me this place was such an interesting place too visit here and there, now from more people finding out it’s destroyed.completely. Really sad
I drove by the other day and it looks totally different from when this video was shot. I was thinking of going back for a closer look. It really is sad how people destroy things, thanks for watching Lin
I lived near there... hope your packing a gun because when you're in the desert up here around Palmdale and the Antelope Valley there's a lot of tweakers around those vacant houses
Is this in-between Ave S and Pearblossom off the 14 south?
My dad hauled a junk car outta there for an an old timer before he moved 15-20 years ago. I remember him telling me about it and I’ve always wanted to check it out. Thanks
thanks for sharing
I remember passing by that building when l was a little girl and l always wanted to explore it. Sadly l don't live in Palmdale anymore but when l have the chance l'll go back and try exploring all those abandoned buildings that l never got to go to. Also if l'm remembering correctly on the side of the sierra highway there was a HUGE slope and down there was a tiny abandoned house/shack and there were gigantic over grown trees covering it and it looked beautiful and cool. I wish I could give more detail of where it was at but l hope it gives you a clue of where it is at. Theres actually a lot of abandoned buildings around Palmdale.
thanks for sharing and if I find it ill check it out!
Omg pls tell me locations to visit in Palmdale that are abandoned!
This bumper was bumped off by bus of Selenas!
haha good one bro!
Bro ! You were super excited to visit an abandoned shed wear the homeless live? If it's any consolation.....you have put a smile on my face bro 😁😏👍
That whole tunnel is painted up now. The ceiling n everything. My folks used to live there in the 70s. They called it the house in the hole. They said it was a fun place to live. Ride dirt bikes and horses.
Wow! Thanks for sharing that with me. I definitely been waiting to go back, it’s been so long since I’ve been to see how much everything has changed.
It's not that isolated. It's right off the 14
What are the coordinates? Id like to check it out w my dad if its legal
I used to pass there every morning on the freeway going to and from school

The upper road leads to the Old Quarry that the structures are related to, about a half mile away.

Had a experience back in 1994 there.
An experience? Im interested in the story!

My grandpa used to make meth on that barn back in the 60's
