wow, I'm sorry that you decided to generalize an entire population of people based on a few bad apples. Which, ironically, is exactly what police haters say that they do. Whether or not you agree with them and their actions, no one deserves to die. Especially not when these people have families that they go home to. I would encourage you to read up on some police officers who do good for their community. Just off the top of my head, I can think in the last year of several police officers who have helped other people. For example, one officer bought a lady and her family a whole bunch of food instead of arresting her for shoplifting because she was shoplifting to help her family. There have also been police officers who walk elderly patients with dementia home so that they don't get hurt. But sure, take a couple of bad people and make a statement about an entire population. I feel so bad for these officers who have to deal with stuff like this and they still go into burning buildings to save people who don't respect them at all. I hope for your sake that you never have to call the police, but if you do, I hope that you remember that these are actual human beings.
and to answer your question, yes, I do feel bad for mothers of serial killers. Because again, it is a tragedy that anyone has to die. And most cops go their entire career without having to harm anyone. So again, you're taking the stories spoon-fed to you by the media and making a generalization about all police officers. It's not wise to do that about anyone.
Sound Mind you're categorizing all cops as bad and evil and that is what is ignorant because most risk their own lives to protect yours.
