Ughhhh... I can't stress enough how much I love this label. I find new music on the daily - incredible music from around all around the world that I would never have found otherwise. Thank you SoM
Saw them two times, last year (december) and one week ago (August), I swear... that guitar melody and the flute one, when it cames out at the end of the show... Its something special! it makes you transcend, I must say :) Thats the felling that moves me to see them, and will always be. Watch them live, is like a jourey to me, a quiet and peacefull one.
"I see there woods, and I see there thickets, I see there the fair and most fertile of meadows; I see there the deer on the ground in the corries Hiding in mantles of mist. Lofty mountains and resplendent ledges, There dwell my own folk, kind folk of honour. Light is my step as I leap up to meet them; 'Tis with pleasure I'll stay there a while."
I know what you mean about the Mix on the original version, for a long time I wasn't sure if it was because it was an earlier album or not, it's still very good but I was surprised when I got my copy of Roots to find the Mix on that to be a bit more spot-on than Aura in my opinion but I still love both albums very much so I can't wait for these Remastered versions, I love doing a "Spot the difference" with Originals and Remasters
You actually did not ruin this album with the remastering, and even made it better. I don't know how many times that happens but it's not often! A masterpiece album and one of my absolute favorites ever. So magical and it's like will probably never be made again. I guess Andy was in a magic place when he did this gem.
it didn't even need to get a remastered version, but you kept the soul right there, and I'm so okay with this. SAOR still sounds beautiful like this \m/ Best music label ever!
Excellent track. 👍👊

Thank you Ryan for the support!
Phenomenal! A religious experience..
Goose bumps every time i hear this!
This album is magical, I'm glad we get a remaster. Still couldn't find anything this good in this genre since I first heard this.
Check out Cân Bardd-The Last Rain if you dig Saor. Also very good.
Ruadh is very much alike too and from Scotland as well
So glad SOM picked Saor up. \,,/
Agreed ;)
@@seasonofmist Agreed
Aura is such a magnificent album. The best
One of Saor's best songs.
I can't believe i didn't knew about this version until today my eyes teared up in the first 5 seconds.

Beautiful!
magnificent solid as aura...thanks to Season of Mist for getting me here,
Brilliant! Aura and Forgotten Paths are my two favorite Saor records, but the mixing on the former always sounded a bit off. Now they're both perfect.

It was too high-end and tinny sounding, despite being the better album.
I still think the vocals are too "low" and still sound like they're "in the background". My only complaint with Saor.
@@Kriegsbeil5577 that's what liked about Them. IT sounds like a Guy growling from the mountains
What a powerful and emotional melody and chanting..
Yay, one of my favorite Saor tracks!!

Yeah, they absolutely nailed the remaster on what was already a wonderful sounding work.

Masterpiece! This is how would nature sounds like if it has metal instruments to express itself :)
Mixing is as magical as the scenery itself
Hell yeah, already loved the original record, but this is even better

As if I didn't already have enough Saor merch
tfw the panflute hits

I love this version, as it does sound less tinny, BUT it's a bit synth heavy, and the awesome drumming gets a little under-represented.
Exactly. To me, the drums are the best part of the original version.
@@Sw87sw87 Austin absolutely kills it on this album, Saor and Panopticon are two of my all time favourite bands
Saor rules! Following his work since Ardsaidh. Fuath next with SoM?
🤘🏾🤘🏾🤘🏾
first i hear .. its like OP vinland saga anime
at 2:09 I thought my heart will go on was being blasted
Such a good song, but I feel like it would be even better with a little less reverb on everything, especially the drums.
ha, 13:37 leet
Will the whole album be remastered? I saw just one song in ITunes for $9.99.
Whole album has been remastered and was released digitally and on CD & vinyl on Friday.
Way better than Mora Prokaza.
Anything is better than that garbage.

Not one bit. Celtic black metal.

Why a remaster? I prefer new stuff
He released new material last year, give him some time.
@@NPC-ej4ql And said on stream that new album is recorded, or in progress of recording.
Is... Is that even possible? A fan who does not complain about how their earlier stuff was better?
@@colored_lonely Last I heard a new Fuath album is supposed to drop this year, so I assume he's been working on that.
