The Crossfire commercial music lives rent-free in my brain. “Crossfire! You’ll get caught up in the crossfire! Crossfire you’ll get caught up in the crossfire! Crossfire! Crossfire! CROSSFIRE!!!” And the little kid starts yelling, “Yeah! Yeah!”
Ryu is the master of carrying items forever. I remember when I first started watching it borderline annoyed me. I was like just drop the item you freak! Now it makes me laugh and it's just Ryu being Ryu :)
(Slight Spoilers) Just want to say, at the end of the last level at 32:28 you can see the axe was surrounded by coins, which would've been bricks if the P switch wasn't on. I think that level wasn't possible to beat unless you found the P switch, there's even a P written to the right when you clear the level. Eric didn't beat the level and he didn't want you to either
Ryu was just full of Epic Gamer Plays this video! Clutches everywhere with skilled and calculated moves! This is why we come back time and time again to watch a master at work!!!
I jumped and cheered with that p switch clutch🔥🔥🔥 never fails to amaze me since that mm1 with the beetles raining from the sky before like 3-4 years 💪🏻
10:40 @ryukarh talking about that, I would love to see a top of best plays or fails... I'm sure you'll have a lot of material for both xD Btw, great video as usual ❤
So I searched youtube for "crossfire board game" and I was not disappointed. Not going to link it, but the first result is a commercial that is one of the most hilarious things that I've ever seen. Thanks for that 🤩
The amount of clutches and chokes in this episode was insane! Episode should've been called "Clutches and Chokes" I almost died laughing when everything fell apart on Stage 5.
Always a treat when we get to see Ryu's A game. As for that final level, if the prop cap had been just given to Mario instead of hidden, well it wouldn't have been a good level, but at least it would have been respectable.
To be fair with the block castle level, the p switch was actually needed, at the end the goal is protected by blocks on each side, and I think that you couldn't access that P switch if it wasn't for the propeller at the end, so it was an actual impossible level if you didn't get the dev item.
This was easily your best run, amazing skill and clutches. The only thing that makes it better is that I watched it in Japan in the Shinkansen. Almost missed Mt Fuji that's how glued to the screen I was. Even the Japanese dude next to me was intrigued
The metroidvania (or what it’s called) are probably the kind of levels where cheesing could end up being a bad idea. If you don’t know what you are doing or what you need, you could potentially end up ruining yourself

woah! that cobwoy hat at the end of the promotion.
Cool save
That P-switch buzzer beater was absolutely clutch!
So freaking good
I got all wet because of that
amazing save
@@robfrancoisayo are you coming onto me?
He’s nutty wit it
9:52 is just a huge series of clutches
10:12 It's so funny to see Ryu's face slowly change as he realizes what he can do, and even more when he gets it
10:10 is one of the greatest mario plays I've ever seen. Ryu never fails to disappoint. (Entertain)
You should rethink the meaning of "never fails to disappoint"...
@@theMagos RIP. Nice catch.
The save in second level was one of the top saves in your gaming history it was epic
Honestly he clutched so many times in this run, the one at 11:30 didn't really matter but it was still cool.
That was just the aftermath gamer plays coming from the previous level clutch!!!
Yeah!”
The way you salvaged that level after 9:55 was insane.
The amount of weird ways Ryu dawned a shellmet was staggering this episode!
Donned, FYI, but yeah, that was pretty amusing! 🎩
20:30 "Cross-FIYA!" I still remember that commercial 😆
26:26 - 32:29
block Pwnd:
"Here's a little lesson in trickery"
👁️ 👁️
👃🏻
〰️
27:20: Is that enough fireballs, Eric?
10:06 God level moves right there
All these years later and Ryu still learning ways to get shelmets in Mario Maker 1.
Ryu is the master of carrying items forever. I remember when I first started watching it borderline annoyed me. I was like just drop the item you freak! Now it makes me laugh and it's just Ryu being Ryu :)
29:10 Am I safe ? 😂😂😂
10:10 I swear Ryu is one of the most insanely lucky/skilled gamers of our generation 😂
Wow that save in the metroidvania level, he's got the moves.
Ryu has invoked the ancient Crossfire melody and must therefore challenge Sunny and the Black Pack to a Crossfire tournament showdown.
The clutches were absolutely incredible this episode, always love to see it
the p switch save was a literal jaw dropper
The salvation on the Metroidvania level is top tier!
(Slight Spoilers)

Honestly having to find the right powerups to progress is pretty standard for Metroid.
Yep.
"For those of you not old" ~ I feel attacked XD 'You'll get caught up in the... CROSS FIYA!"
26:13 “Eh, who’s keeping track of my chokes? Not you guys, for sure.”
Of course not! There isn’t a secret committee to rename you “Ryucough.”
Its like Saturday morning ryu. Better than cartoons
Funny enough, both had ads for Crossfire.
@@smilos3397crossfire was such a fun game
Clutch, after insane move, after save...32:50 was funniest though
I jumped and cheered with that p switch clutch🔥🔥🔥 never fails to amaze me since that mm1 with the beetles raining from the sky before like 3-4 years 💪🏻
This was like a retro Ryukahr gaming theme metroid mania then the crossfire mention took me back to my little kid days lol 20:37
The clutch at 9:40 🎉absolutely brilliant 👏
10:40 @ryukarh talking about that, I would love to see a top of best plays or fails... I'm sure you'll have a lot of material for both xD
Btw, great video as usual ❤
I can still hear the song from the Crossfire commercials.
"Crossfiiiiiire
You'll get caught up in the -
CROSSFIIIIIIRE"
10:09 holy crap. that was one of the greatest saves in Ryukahr history!
0:36, the Feather came out exactly on time when Mario died.
I don't like to throw around the phrase "Greatest save ever" very often, but that save in the metroidvania was probably the greatest save ever
dude, this is probably one of your best videos, so many amazing saves, some cheese and a top 10 Ryu moments 😂
A classic. smm1 100 Mario run
Okay, that P-switch play was insane.
So I searched youtube for "crossfire board game" and I was not disappointed. Not going to link it, but the first result is a commercial that is one of the most hilarious things that I've ever seen. Thanks for that 🤩
That was my favourite save to date. You know its good when Ryu asks to confirm the video was actually recording.
10:00 was the most epic salvage I've ever seen.
The amount of clutches and chokes in this episode was insane! Episode should've been called "Clutches and Chokes" I almost died laughing when everything fell apart on Stage 5.
I didn't have Crossfire, but I do remember the commercials.
I did own a similar game called Torpedo Run by Milton Bradley.
That was a classic, fun Ryu SMM1 run. Thanks for keeping the awesome content going!
The sound of a wild Ryuclutch 10:20
that crossfire commercial has lived rent free in my brain for 30+ years.
Child of the 80's here. Actually just bought Crossfire for my 10 year old last year. Love that old commercial!
I’ve been watching for years, that might be the most clutch moment I’ve seen!
Only Ryu is able to make one of the best saves of all time in a level and level later, he's dying the most dumbest ways on the same spot 😂😂
10:02 OMFG, I can't believe he saved it.
Ryu you just brought back some great memories with Crossfire 😂 thanks man
Okay that Metroidvania level was freakIn' sweet! Sometimes people's creativity blows my mind.
There must been more p-switches in last lvl cos someone beated it in 44 sec. But probs to Eric not to made it just fly over to the end
Ryu will have one of the clutchest moments in Mario maker history and within 5 minutes die in the stupidest way possible 😂
That 10 minute spot in the video jumping without yoshi was Epic Ryu!
Crossfire, you’ll get caught up in the..Crossfire, Crossfire, 🗣️Crossfiiiiiiiiiiirrrrrrrreee 🎶
Ngl I chuckle at the beginning. The sound effects was perfect.
10:03
legendary move!!!
9:45 what a play
The fact that ryu brings out vids so quickly is astounding (I couldnt even edit 1 hour footage even if I wanted to, Im very stoopid and lazy lol)
Always a treat when we get to see Ryu's A game. As for that final level, if the prop cap had been just given to Mario instead of hidden, well it wouldn't have been a good level, but at least it would have been respectable.
you earned yourself a like with that save
10:20 is unreal!!! Well done
Holy shit Crossfire is a blast from the past, they just don’t make commercials like they used to!!
You'll get caught up in the.....CROSSFIRE!
🤣🤣🤣
1:20 I guess thats what one calls an RIP level of cheese. 🧀🍕
What the.. Mario fall into the lava at 26:05 !!!
Mamma mia!
i have seen Crossfire commercial, AVGN showed it in one of his review when he was fond of board games
To be fair with the block castle level, the p switch was actually needed, at the end the goal is protected by blocks on each side, and I think that you couldn't access that P switch if it wasn't for the propeller at the end, so it was an actual impossible level if you didn't get the dev item.
The coins at the start of the level definitely seemed to be giving a clue that something was hidden there.
I actually played Crossfire at my friend's house as a kid :) yeah the commercial was pretty interesting.
nice save my boy
To this day, I still get the crossfire commercial song stuck in my head. You'll get caught up in the crossfire!
16:54 creators name translated is Ancestor of death lol
10:16 - 10:27 - “YOU ARE A GOD OF CLUCH; RYU”!!!!
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
11:46 - O; you are playing “FLAPPY MARIO NOW”???? Sounds fun…….
24:17 - 24:19 - Nintendo JANK *takeith away*
Nintendo JANK *givith you a helmet…….
😊😊😊😊😊😊
I had a Crossfire game up until a few years ago when I finally threw it out. Lost all of the little metal marbles long ago.
The single greatest piece of salvaging I have ever seen occurs in this video
I watched this man go from Clutch Daddy to Spaghetti Monster in a matter of minutes.
That concept never got to Montana or Arizona before 1960 that I saw.
Gamer-est gamer moment at 10:15 🎉
This was easily your best run, amazing skill and clutches.
The only thing that makes it better is that I watched it in Japan in the Shinkansen. Almost missed Mt Fuji that's how glued to the screen I was. Even the Japanese dude next to me was intrigued
10:24 jezus he is gamingggg dude
That 10 min Pswitch clutch was absolutely insane
My friend had Crossfire. Im not sure we ever played it the way it was intended 😂
The metroidvania (or what it’s called) are probably the kind of levels where cheesing could end up being a bad idea.
If you don’t know what you are doing or what you need, you could potentially end up ruining yourself
"You'll get caught in the CROSSFIRE!!!!!" 😆 it was beyblade with a gun 🔫
Alternative title: Ryu is avoiding death by doing extremely lucky moves for 30 minutes straight.
I love that your joy is back !
This run was epic in mo! Great content, Ryu at his best
i remember the crossfire commercial , now i will be singing it all day in my head , i miss the 90's
I gave you me like just for the amazing 10:30 moment! Clutch!
"You'll get caught up in the - CROSSFIRE"
Talking about crossfire unlocked some long forgotten memories lol
That save was absolutely bonkers
So many excellent saves and butt clenching moments in this video 😎
🎶 🎵 you'll get caught up in the CROSSFIRE!! 🎶 🎵
10:14 clutch as hell
Stage two was a hell of a save.
10:10 god gamer alert lol
