Those turn signals are a huge improvement and I like the second air cleaner even if it's not functional. Those rivit nuts as you call them we call them nut serts are better to install if you use a wrench or socket and ratchet instead of an impact gun since you cam feel when they're snug and you won't strip them out as easy.
Im not an expert on North American trucks, it was my lifelong love of american cars that led me to loving the trucks too, but to my untrained eyes duke looks just as cool to me as a 389 or any of the more popular models, in fact l would say if you were to graft on some 359/379 lights onto duke l think easily as good as the 359/379 et al . Hey Mike, just out of curiosity, I've noticed that some newer Pete trucks don't have the traditional red badge but sometimes black or other colors. Are those available to order from the factory or are they an aftermarket item?
They are aftermarket, you can buy decals or what we do is paint them to color match then add the customers logo or pete logo with decal and clear coat over that.

Mike the l.e.d. headlights are nice but make sure that you get the type with the heating elements in them because they will melt the ice that builds up on them.
I personally would like the marker lights to match your other lights. I would also go a step further and see if I could get small clear lenses that are attached to the outside mirrors. Now if this isn't enough, I'd also get black cable wraps to replace the white cable wraps on the black wiper arms. Thanks for the video Mike!
If you're going with clear signal lights, then the other lights need to be clear lens as well. Also, change out the steel wheels to aluminum and get them polished up. A drop viser would look good.
Duke looks better all the time with every mod you do Mike. Double air breathers look really good. Even if you sometimes get them both working. I'm already waiting for the video when you make the necessary holes in the cabin and the connecting pipe. The skirts for the sleeper and the cabin also improve the appearance a lot. Heck it’s coming together. Them cab skirts are a no go, they just don’t look right. Move the tanks and put steps with the right skirts. As a work truck person tanks are handy under the doors, as a show/toy truck it needs steps. Awesome job, enjoy the average joe feel you do building these trucks Mike.
Your right side has a light bracket and your left side doesn’t makes it look 👀 off you used the bracket for checking the placement of the holes you drilled I’d put that bracket on then add some lights just a penny for thought but you got the truck looking good
They make riv nuts that you use a crimping tool with, I have one that does riv nuts and pop rivets using different dies...you pull the handles out and it draws the center in and pulls the crimp in the riv nut
Truck is coming along real nice, i noticed when you put on the bracket to hold the air intake, the holes for lights are to the front on the passenger side and to the back on the driver's side
Duke is looking sweet! Nice job Mike! The other air breather makes the look. Polish the tanks, I would paint the rims blue with chrome accented lug covers and caps, And maybe a blue pin stripe with a flare of some type. A bigger visor would be a plus?
2 things on your wire connections. First the wires have a clockwise twist from the manufacturer, which means you should hold the wire in left hand and twist forward with your right. Reverse twisting of the wire causes hotspots and mskes the wire brittle and weak. Second get rid of the flame to shrink the sleeves and get a heat gun from your hardware store that gets to 800 degrees Fahrenheit ( 427 celsius)

a little dab of never seize helps to prevent galling and sometimes impacts booger them up quick as well bit of learning curve with them
