For me, birthdays present a perfect opportunity to reflect on life and to set an intention. Today, as I turn 52, I’m reflecting on how I’ve moved through the past five years of my life; how I’ve lost myself to a certain extent; how I’ve allowed myself to feel bogged down by life’s challenges - feeling heavy, unmotivated, and at times hopeless.
It’s time for a change!
My intention is this: Today I’m rededicating myself to starting each new day with the understanding that it’s just that - a new day. A new opportunity to let go of emotional baggage that I don’t need to hold onto, to let go of control and embrace mystery, and to fill my own cup first so that I can show up for others as the best version of myself.
I’ve put it out into the universe, so now I HAVE TO DO IT! 🎂🥂
