Such a fun project to watch you create! I love the towel bowl/planter. Thank you for bringing back the singing and dancing! My Friday is now complete. ❤️
Yea! That's my favorite too from an aesthetic standpoint. I hope stuff grows in that one so I can make more. Happy to provide some fun for your Friday teeheehee 🙃💃🏻❤
Love how these planters came out. My gardening eye imagines some succulents or even radishes (shallow roots) in the towel bowl and something tall and skinny like basil or rosemary in the smaller one. They both came out really cool! BTW, loved the singing!
Ooh radishes...I'm not sure if Matt has seeds for those but I'll ask. If not I'm adding that to the list. I bet they'd grow great in the towel planter! Thanks for the inspiration, and the compliments (though i feel as if you must be tone deaf lol)
I was going to make a table top purple then I realized you can't use regular cement how are you guys popping this stuff out with expensive fire cement or is it just regular cement for the video
I'm not sure I understand what you're asking. If you're looking for a fire safe cement, I can't help because I've never used something specific like that before. It's been a while since I made this video so I don't remember, but it's likely I used either Quikrete or Rapid Set Cement. I don't ever use fire in the concrete pieces I create. Candles sometimes but they always go inside a metal bucket inside the bowl. I hope this helps but if not feel free to reach back out.

So fun. Really like the funky towel bowl, who knew that was even possible?
I know right? Saw that in a 5 min crafts vid last year sometime and have been itching to try it ever since. Honestly I'm shocked it worked!

Great job. I'm intrigued by the cloth pot. I might try something similar. Thanks.
Thanks so much! I'll keep you posted how it does with soil/water over the next week-ish. Fingers crossed it holds up!
Nice sharing, keep it up! I'm your new friend ✌😎
Thanks for watching!
