You’re right, Narciso Rodriguez Rouge smells exactly like a rouge or face powder compact. I love it and at first had hoped it would’ve been more waxy lipstick-like but I enjoy this anyway. Would you ever consider doing a video on lipstick smelling fragrances? I love Lipstick Rose by Frederic Malle but am always looking for lighter, less heavy version of the the Iris-violet combo that reminds me of old school lipstick.
Rose is my favourite note I have Noir de noir (gorgeous), portrait ( unfortunately I get a strong Vicks note in that one) Harem Rose by Fort and Manle (people stop me in the street to ask me what I’m wearing and they love my Birkies too lol), I have Tea Rose (room freshener only), Paul smith rose (ok) and Lipstick On (people love that one too).

I prefer that rich, opulent rose over something green or soapy. I love it on men too, I might have to try Egoiste on my hubby!

Argos Adonis Awakens was a recent addition with its blend of rose and raspberry. ATH also has some stunning fragrances using rose absolute such as Luna, Onyx and Onyx Extreme. Other than that, I have the usual rose-oud combinations such as Xerjoff Alexandria II. I've samples of Noir de Noir and Portrait of a Lady but haven't quite pushed the button on both yet although I almost bought the Frederic Malle fragrance in December. Nishane Nefs is another scent that interests me but its so damn expensive!
I'm a Chanel fan of course I love Egoiste so I have to add another Chanel, Antaeus, Castoreum+Oakmoss+Rose fantastic combination, and what about Guerlain Habit Rouge, Floris No. 89, Cartier Declaration D'Un Soir, Chopard Rose Malaki even the short lived YSL L'homme Ultime or my beloved oldies Ungaro Pour L'homme III and V&A Pour Homme... tons of good perfumes with a prominent rose... and the new La Douleur Exquise by Les Abstraits? have you tried that one (Eugen / U Smell Good channel is the creative director) if you don't you have to try it, think about Antaeus but here the rose is much more prominent... great video as always Clemence!
POL is a from no for me. Noir de Noir was a recent fun discovery, it blew me away, so smooth. Lipstick rose is legendary in my opinion but you must enjoy Violet, Amouage Lyric Man and Epic Woman and Memoir Woman are Boss Babe scents love them 😊

And that’s correct ! After it dépends you can still use synthetic rose or cheaper ones (it’s just not the same effect!)
I just added NR rouge edt to my cart…. Fingers crossed it works for me. The edp didn’t.

quite different yes, the edt focus much more on the rose whereas the edp is more vanilla like with a powdery iris
