Maybe bleed the brakes just because... it's 10 minutes, better safe than... For the rest, you are absolutely right wind screen should be mandatory with that riding position, it becomes tiresome even at low speed in high winds. And though it is likely you'll spend as little as possible in those circumstances, it is the Netherlands that is your base. In all, it is a great bike.
I ordered a windscreen and it didnt fit. So i ended up doing a 1300km ride with a LOT of highway completely naked. It wasnt as bad as i thought it would be.
It was some kid having a complete meltdown. His parents left him in the bacfiets on the sidewalk while they went in to get their other kid. He sat there and screamed for close to 10 minutes
