Thank you for the tips, we have a hype dome in the garden and I have been thinking of giving it a second use for over wintintering and propagating plants. This video was just what we needed. I wanted to suggest that if you build up compost heaps around your greenhouse they will heat the greenhouse as materials are broken down. Also large containers of water that are sealed can also store heat over night in the greenhousr

Wow. This was a very thorough presentation of how to winterize my greenhouse. This makes me think about applying these ideas instead of bringing most of the plants indoors. The volume and size of the plants indoors takes up a lot of room. No sunshine here on Vancouver island, Canada during the winter.

Brilliant video, thank you. As a more mature person, I have no idea what all the smart bits are called let alone what they are for. Any chance of a video on this please

Great ideas. Thank you. Love the bubble wrap idea and am trying to source it out in Canada now.
One easy thing I have done is putting large containers of water in front of my heater to help holding that heat. Best if they are in a spot that can also absorb sun in the daytime too. And as you said, water is efficient for thermal mass.
Sooooo keeping that in mind....have you heard about using submersible fish tank heaters in buckets of water. Its supposed to be alot cheaper to run for heating. That and bubblewrap are on my shopping list.

Hi Craig. What are the fasteners you use to attach bubblewrap to the greenhouse frame please ?

Very well explained Craig. I have the bricks used for pavement in my greenhouse. These alone can raise the temperature significantly after a sunny day. I use bubblewrap too but only in the lower half as it is easier to keep the humidity lower. And yes I know it is make the cost for heating higher.

The fish poo in the water would also provide a good plant food...😊

Fabulous video, greenhouse is looking great! Question: how did you connect your smart plug to Ubibot to be automatically triggered when temperature drops below your set limit? :)

Hi Craig, thanks for the instructive video. Could you let me know the maximum height (in the middle) of your greenhouse? Thanks a lot

Bonjour! Merci…

Would you be able to keep a greenhouse 15-21 celsius in winter zone 7 with this?

Depends on the size of your greenhouse and effectiveness of any heaters you are using. 👍
