This breakfast is okay for Economy, but not for a 12-hour flight in Premium... Nice video.

There is nothing "premium" about that apart from the seat and the screen. The food looks appalling, cheap cutlery and plastic cups. Air France has become a low quality, no frills airline.
Great video. Disappointing food offered in PE by Air France . I like the energy of the Captain but a tad over the top
Given the prices they charge for PE this food looks like a rip off. How disappointing
Holy guacamole, that pilot doesnt shut up! Almost 10 minutes of ranting during boarding, cant get over how much he goes on and on, cant imagine being a passenger and you just want some peace and quiet when everyone is boarding!

Thanks for this very nice video. Enjoyable. Your clothes seem quite well kept despite having been on a long overnight flight. I would find it impossibly uncomfortable to travel long haul in a suit. The PE cabin for AF looks very nice; however like others have said, the food looks very poor for PE. I was thinking that PE in AF may be an option for me but until I hear that they have upgraded their PE catering to the the level it should be (think Virgin, Qantas or Air New Zealand), it's off the table for me.
Thanks for sharing. The food does not look very premium economy - and Air France seems to be creating a lot of extra plastic with the breakfast bag! Very lazy and cheap of Air France not to offer a hot breakfast on such a long flight
They do offer lots of sandwiches in the back and high-quality snacks so the idea is Philip on the finger sandwiches and the snacks in the back in between the main meal and the breakfast in the morning

The Captain talks a lot....the meal in Premium looks basically the same as economy. Not much food for a 12 hour flight. Maybe they have snacks in the galley?
This premium economy is not worth it. Travel on another airline with much better premium service

My last Air France experience in Eco from Seoul to Paris was dreadful. The food quality was questionable and there wasn’t any meal for 10 hours after the first meal. Everyone was hungry and flocked to the snack bar. They also served drinks in dirty cups !
Great video thank you! I fly between NY and Paris often ans I was hoping that the AF premium economy on very long haul flights would be better than on the NY route, alas it's as underwhelming as on the NY route. No pre-departure or post-departure drinks, basic food offering etc. I love AF business class, it's an excellent product but their premium product has nothing premium at all (compared with Virgin, any Asian airline or even KLM). I only fly this product on day flights from CDG when it's a reasonable amount of miles, I would never pay the ridiculous amount they're charging for this product, which offers teh same service as economy. Ironically, their business class product is actually priced in a more reasonable way.
I agree with other comments, it was a great captain there! I must say FAs are also great and in all classes, that's significant and such a difference from the AF from 20 years ago. So there is a silver lining for their premium economy product. If only FAs could operate in a framework that offers a little bit more in terms of food and beverage service. Little things can mean so much for passengers and AF is really missing the mark here.
18:38 Dessert very poorly presented. Cutlery made of wood was not fine!
20:40 This method of serving meals (on a paper bag) is not acceptable. Customers should write more and more and tell the airline about it. If nobody complains, the airline may think that everything is okay. It is not.
If that's the legroom in Prem: I would hate to think what cattle class is like. Won't even comment on the food they served as that looked worse than B/A and that's saying something. Just hope you got the flight cheap.

30 years ago, the economy class meal looked just like the one you had, even bigger with a side salad and fruit. Also non stop champagne.😁
But the fares for Economy were even higher then - and the average wages much lower.
Why I don't have the same captain when I travel to Seoul or even anywhere🥲

Hoped for more actual verbal comments on the service, seat room and comfortability. Gave up part way through as was so boring just looking at AF safety videos etc.
Air France have one of the best economy class services of all airlines. I mean come on look at the quality and quantity, even the cheese a high branded one, and the bread is typical French baguette style. Bravo Air France

Technically, the newest departing terminal in CDG is now the junction of satellites in terminal 1 (International) since December 2022
