Where is Yasuyuki Kazama, the Silvia meister, now? Our Tuner Club team tracked him down. No website, no social media, just pretty much word of mouth. You must bring your Silvia to him and he won't work on your car unless he gets to ride with you and check out your level of driving. このくらいさりげないチューニングが一番車にとっても優しいし人間にもお財布にもいいなって思います。しかも一人一人にあったチューニングを提案してくれるってめっちゃいい商売だと思います。
風間さんショップ始めてから人の良さで商売できるのかと心配になってましたが、無事続いていてよかったです。今度またお邪魔しに行きます。

Most dominant drifter I have ever seen in the early 2000s. Dude was incredible. D1/Formula D misses him!
Pure legend ! He’s so wild in his driving style ! And when he talk you can hear how much he love what he’s doing !

My favourite Silvia driver. Such a modest guy, always humble and considered. So lucky to have met him a few times over the years and I’m glad to see him in the public eye again, so international folks can support him 🙏

風間さんは、D1チャンピオンになる前からずっと、数ある大会で活躍していて、常に上位の結果だしていましたよね。同時の強豪揃いのD1でも！まだ、同世代の上野さんも活躍してるし、風間さんのパワーを頼りにしない技術の走り懐かしいし、見たいな～まだまたチャンピオン争い出来ますね！！ありがとうございます。

昔から100系好きだったんですけど、唯一、風間さんんの赤い頃のs15だけはGPスポーツのエアロ、ウィング、サンルーフ付きが好きで憧れでした！
シルビアが好きになるきっかけでした。当時、高校生でしたが、今もエアロのスタイルが変わってなくて安心しました！

やっぱ拘りがある、わくわくさんは好きやわぁ〜。当時のD1では先を行き過ぎたドライバーって感じやったね。今なら速いドリフトだから合うんじゃないかなぁ〜って思う部分もあるけど、見た目ダサくしてまで走りたくないかもな〜って思うとこもある。またサーキットで走る姿を見たいですね。
This is why I have so much love and respect for Japanese tuners. The way they go about things and their philosophy on tuning. Anywhere else it’s all about “yeah we’ll give you as much power as you can buy.” But in Japan they make it about the owner/driver bettering and the car becoming a tool or extension of one’s self. Not the other way around

He was my favorite D1 driver back in the day right after Ken Nomura, he wasn’t the best but ken had energy and Kazama had energy as well! They made it fun for me.
These 2 are my all time favorites! Love them!

Kazama-san was my hero back in the time when he was in D1...I was pretty down when he suddenly disappeared. I`m glad he's still there and doing his thing. I hope he's happy.

This man was such a huge part of my childhood, so glad to see he's still doing what he does best. I feel the same about the S chassis as he does, I'm on my 7th S13, perfecting each one as I go, making it an extension of myself, and I will always have one in my garage.

Really love watching him during the old D1 days, he's one of those that seems the most natural when it comes to drifting, his carefree style still sticks to my mind.

He was my fav driver on D1 , the good old days of D1 . I remember i even went to fontana CA to see him when they came to the states for the 1st time .

なんか久しぶりに風間さん見たなぁwなんか感動
I love Kazama, he's the most enthusiastic out of all the cast on BMI and Hot Version. First time I saw him and became enamored was in the touge testing with the Amuse S2300 GT-1.
I remember watching him turning the s15 180 degrees to left, then 180 right and then faint it back to straight on slipstream. I think he was the best as far as car control goes on BMI.
Never knew he had a garage. Respect!
