Beth may have been irritating to those that were around her 24/7 but she did try to protect Tammi from an embarrassing moment on national television, so I did give her props there
I like her. Maybe in spite of how others treated her. I’d like to have some goofy pillow talk with her.
@@BipolarBowler
WTF is "goofy pillow talk"?!
I swear, I want to cry. MTV was so good back then, and shows like this really fulfilled something in me as a young teen who was a lonely latchkey kid. I learned so much about life, how to interact with people, etc. I watched many these episodes multiple times. I also really liked how they would use current songs from those days along with scenes.
i agree. 90's mtv was really good
80s mtv and parents were better
*Their editors are amazing.*
❤
Absolutely!
These were the best days of MTV.
Get real, the 80's were by far the best years, when they actually dedicated the channel to music, vs pushing liberal BS.
Yeah. They actually played music!
the best days of my life being a kid not worried about the bills responsibility etc
@@Ironwind1972 I can handle liberal mentality back then. Before they took off for space, completely disconnected from reality
@@bodhi8297 Yeah, definitely some truth to that
I wish things were this way still. Social media changed all of this.. So sad😢
Have you ever watched 90s house mtv had that show maybe 5 years ago it was refreshing to see today’s young people in a house with no cells phones as social media
Exactly I agree with you
This season had the BEST background songs ever!!! Some classic hits from 1992-1993 played as they spoke!
My favorite relationship in the house was John and Tammy's. I was so happy to see that they have stayed friends through the years❤
12 y.o. me was obsessed with this show. All of the songs they would play during the show….the nostalgia. And tami was really real. Sharing so much of her life. Now reality tv seems like its the folks showing you only what they want you to see.
I used to think MTV was targeting teens to early-mid 20s. Turns out 12 year olds have been the key demographic going back years. Then I realized I thought MTV was cool when I was like 11-12.
I met Jon recently in Nashville. Solid dude. No B. S., honest, genuine & sincere. Stand up guy.
Man i miss the real world and road rules mtv era! Today’s teens just have no clue!
I had no clue what the Real World show is all about. 😮
Cause it was not for us
They truly missed out. I feel so luck to have been a teen in the 90s.
@@maninedoow5895 OK. We were kids back then or we were born before the late 1990s.
They were all such characters holy crap 😂
I was just 13 watching this back in the day, everyone felt like adults to me & the prospect of becoming an adult always felt really exciting to me because of this show. Watching it now in my 40s they all seem like kids to me
What’s so crazy is these videos from this season randomly popped up on my timeline this week and an hour ago I just found out they are bringing this very cast back for The Real World Los Angeles Homecoming. I loooove it. I wanna watch every episode of this 1993 season and the new one!
pure nostalgia 🙂the first 3 seasons of the real world were great, and i always loved the LA season the most (san francisco season 3 was a close second,) back then in the early days of "reality" tv it seemed like such a novel new idea to put these strangers together in a house. the LA season i think had the most random/diverse personalities... i was 16, mtv was where you found out about the coolest new music and artists, and i would stay up late to watch the real world and alternative nation, and headbangers ball and of course the pre-TRL weekly top videos countdown. i'm so glad i came of age in the early 90s! i love watching the homecoming shows. i hope they do a san francisco homecoming/reunion!
Agree , the first 3 or 4 seasons. It REALLY sucked somewhere between England and Hawaii .
1 thru 4 were the best
They were so mean to Beth she seemed sooo sweet
I hated Beth then and I hate her now. She's so obnoxious.
she seemed sneaky and passive-aggressive. I think that's why
Irene’s hair was a roommate on its own ... geez
One of the best RW seasons ever! Man, the good ol' days...
I love how they are all so down to earth. They accept other lifestyles and respect other opinions. They have arguments but understand the value of coming back together and moving forward. God i miss the 90s.
Such nostalgia!!! I miss these days like crazy.
I never grew up watching The Real World on MTV because I wasn’t born in the early 1990s. Teenagers back when they were adults watch this show on MTV and experience seeing it, no matter what. 😀
I wish Dom and Aaron would have come for the reunion.
This was the best MTV show that everyone loves to watch. Folks cannot wait to see the real world homecoming to LA with the original cast that started it all on Paramount+. 😀
This is the 2nd season
@@maninedoow5895 Oh. Thanks for replying : ) .
I am so excited to see this season. The first season NY was ok but this LA cast is going to bring trashy reality tv and I’m ready for it.
Plenty of people would pay top dollar to have Irene's hair 😍
Man take me back to the 90s man that was the best times ever! These kids will never understand what living was. All they want to do is play the game all day. We actually went outside rode bikes, played jump rope, curve ball, street ball, and everything else! Man I wish I could go back. I would do it all over again
Cartoons on Saturday mornings.
12:45 Back To The Hotel! That was the jam back in the day.
15:15 whenever I hear Blind Melon's "No Rain" I get Instant nostalgia and start thinking of how much better life used to be In the early 90's , that era of music for Rock was magical.
i love this season and cant wait for the reunion
Real soon

This is when it was the Real World. The original concept. Treasure to see this on here!! Great season
This was when reality shows were real. I think I was about 13 when this aired and it’s really taking me back. I can’t believe how familiar the cast feels when I haven’t even thought about these people in 30ish years. It’s like looking at an old yearbook.
It’s so weird.
By far the best season. So many hot button topics that need and should be discussed.
I LOVE the “soundtrack” to this season. Like when they used “Hi there” from Big Time. 🤩
Agreed...”back to the motel “ by N2Deep was a crazy choice for Tammys abortion clinic parts though lol what were they thinking?!!🤣😅
@@brianregan75 so funny, I thought the SAME thing! Maybe because they didn’t use the part w/ lyrics?
@@julieann4616 lol righht??! Idk though because back then if u heard that beat with that sax intro you knew what the song was about right away 🙃
The tv back then:) my god time flys!!.. I loved this season.times have changed so dramatically it’s crazy.
The good old days! I loved that house.
I was born in the 90s but I wish I was able to live out my late teens/early 20s it seems like such a cool time
That cowboy 🤠 hat was always too much.
I always hated Irene, she had NO sense of humor and took herself way to seriously.
She’s a police officer-kinda goes with the territory.
I never understood why she was on the show. She was so not a vibe. Nice lady but she had no presence.
@@TheMackash2 I agree. My only thought is that this season happened only a year after the Rodney King riots and a nationwide debate over police brutality. Perhaps the producers were hoping for those discussions in the house.
@@TheMackash2 she was on the show because it was a new dynamic they tried. She was engaged so her time was super limited and they wanted to see how the other roommates would accept or live with someone that was guaranteed not to be with them the entire duration of the show
I did NOT like her . she was on a power trip.
When MTV ruled network TV.
This is when I became obsessed with the show and I went back watched Season 1 and then went on to watch season after season, season 5 was my favorite because it was shot in Miami Beach while I lived in Miami Beach
David was on Def Comedy Jam.
David went the hell in on Beth @5:05 OMG lol
My favorite season!
Aweee John sounds really good!!
Real World: Los Angeles -- Vanessa Johnson. I love L.A. It's a happenin' place! I like the sun, the tan, the grapplin' place, Hollywood Boulevard, and such like that. It's so iconic!!!
Classic crew
Thumbs up from the Dooleys of Michigan
Before UA-cam, Instagram, and other social media outlets really got huge...... these were what were considered “influencers”.
Damn! That Big Back TV 📺 Nostalgia
Lmao 🤣
I was born in 90 so I was around but I was a baby for the older ones that were teens then how was this back then for you ? This looks so cool and vintage and simpler times than today
Now I’ve heard of real world mostly the 1st season and didn’t know they did a second season. So cool that the first reality tv show was in the 90s and also to see Tami Roman so young, wow.
They did 32 seasons. This second season L.A. was great and was my first time seeing Tami Roman on tv.
I am so happy to read this because I have been watching her all this time, and I couldn't wait for this come back!! 👊🏼🔥🤣 all these basketball wives trying to be the top reality b*tch and Tami Roman was around wayyyyy before them 💅
@@gilbertocastro5971 Tami is famous for something other than this show ?
@@LannieLordYes. She’s a cast member on basketball wives.
I wonder if that one kid still thinks he’s Garth Brooks.
He thought he was Jesus on the Inferno 2 when he "sacrificed himself" for the good guys team.
I think the Real World show (along with other 90s “young adult “ shows like friends and Mel rose place) really got the ball rolling for the new urban renewal /“gentrification” movement back then. Shows like this made it cool for people wanting to live an urban lifestyle with multiple roommates in a nice city loft apartment. Soon all the cool shops and restaurants would follow in certain hotspot urban neighborhoods around the country. Interesting to see how the big cities were starting to change during and after the 90s and still to the present day due to the increased demand for an Uber cool urban lifestyle. The alt community such as artists , gays and other creatives (which the real world mostly consisted of) were the initial trailblazers in transforming an urban community then followed by richer yuppy types that move in and make the real estate skyrocket whereas the original artists and working folk can’t live there anymore. I was rolling through my old neighborhood in Chicago and it was amazing how much it changed. Expensive new homes and apartments , high end baby strollers lol, joggers etc. It’s nice though to see new energy and life pumped into these neighborhoods. There’s pros and cons to the whole gentrification thing but overall it’s good to have lively cities again. Although they’ve been trying to stigmatize big cities in the media again even more now… but we keep it moving😎🌆
Unfortunately i haven't come across a single person that wants to live with multiple roommates in a city. Everybody loves their alone space these days... But maybe because I'm from the south
It's better to have your OWN broom closet than a mansion with others. @@Trancer006
I remember watching this when it aired the summer my daughter was born in 1993. Dang! I am old now. My daughter is 30 this year. Yikes!
I used to love the early seasons of this show.
1 thru 3 - THE BEST !
I’m just here for the music!
Mom
I miss this 😥
I cannot wait until November 24th to see this cast reunite on Paramount Plus. Los Angeles was an epic cast and one of the best seasons ever. This cast fought like cats and dogs. In the beginning it was non stop fighting until David was removed. I’m interested in seeing Tami and Beth A. Interact again. Tami just did not like that girl at all. She went off on her in Mexico. And now Beth is married to a man can’t wait to see her talk about that. Tami, Beth S. And Jon became the closest this season. Should be interesting to see if they’re still tight or even keep in touch. I know Beth and Jon still talk.
Tami’s daughter came out as bi so that will be interesting if that’s even discussed
Every real world 1 to 7 was worth watching after that it was over.
The last season I enjoyed was 10. After that I lost interest.
The Boston season was when it got really boring. @@JSC178
“I'm from Dublin” 🤣
-Mike Myers
wow, how long!!! I watched all the episodes here in Brazil.Where MTV was something else...
My favorite seasons New York, Los Angeles, Seattle and London... Missing a good time.
The soundtrack is always great! My English is terrible sorry, but that's ok...☺🤗
Before they took away their TV & made them work together. Mtv just let them live. The show was 100% better that way.
LOVE this season, LOVE LOVE the 90s!!!!
I watched the Real World regularly for years. I think the Key West season was the last one I saw ☺
I had the biggest crush on Dominic😍😍😍😍
Me too 😁
It's hilarious that Tami put David in the friend zone from the jump, but he was totally into her 😂
LA , San Fran and Miami were my favorite!
AGREE! The show started to suck around London / Boston ... then total crap = Hawaii .
HATED Hawaii . Season 1- 4 were the best. @@joesimon2029
“ you think you allat” lord David
Best season.
Tami and David really seem like they're going to hit it off. 😂
I miss this show from 93 ugh the 90s we peaked as species.I feel like after this show Aaron and Dominic said deuces. But Aaron was hot.I feel bad for this generation to not know what it’s like living out in your own .
I thought Dom was hot 😊
Gen Z is the least cringe generation
You can’t go wrong with e girl and e boy fashion
90s and 00s and early 10s fashion was cringe 😭
Dominic was really quick to back Tammy's decision. Lol. Maybe he was the father
If David and Tami only knew how things would unfold.
Can y’all put out the real world on dvd!?
Look at those tvs
Why there's no season 2 to buy anywhere on the planet???
Btw season 2 was my favorite.
I like real world tami
Aaron was my first crush ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I have a feeling a lot of GAY BOYS liked him too.
Who would get Married while in production? Mtv tried so hard to create more drama
No wonder Aaron did not go to any reunions, He was a Frat Boy Dck
he's someone I would have HATED in school . I hope he's bald now. (people with silky blonde hair usually loose it by 50 . LOL )
@@LannieLordhe still has all his hair. Yes I have seen him in Newport Beach.

The season it seems no one really mentions.

Mary Ellis Bunin,,,,,was a genius to move a cowboy in with surfer and inner city people,,,,,it's a concept in social experimentation,,,,
It can no longer work today because everyone's fake and has social media to help them cheat and mimic/be what's acceptable or what they think everyone wants.
Everyone's too used to how reality tv works now and too desensitized to cameras In general , this was as real as It was ever gonna be.
Bsck when life was less Complicated
When the real world was about learning. Now the real world is about trying to use the experience to wind up on more dumb reality shows...
Wait, that's Tami
Had David not had other conflicts before the bed incident it might have been overlooked.
I wish I was alive then
Before Big Brothet and those Goddamn Kardashians whe Destroyed Reality TV Quite an Achievment
Is David in jail now?
And look where we are now! Anybody born before the late 90’s is over the hill now if they’re not a Zoomer. In the mid-90’s when this show was on, anybody born before the early 1970’s was over the hill. Millennials were babies and those born in the 1970’s ruled! 60’s Babies, Boomers and X’ers were too old and already established people.
The guy who screamed about the phone and violated this space was...DUSTY! Why was Irene crying?
Cause they made the choice to kick David out, she was a bit hesitant cause he had a comedy career and didn't want to ruin that for him, but he had to go.
@@keybaangel3 But-- crying over it ?? P.S. his comedy sucked.
@@joesimon2029 I wouldn't have cried 😂
Beth is probably a Karen now... Lol
I never liked Irene and I still do not like her.
no sense of humor - she added NOTHING to the show
I hate her.
They all hated each other
Except Irene, Jon and Beth S
Why was back to the hotel playing during the abortion seat?
This was a real PROGRESSIVE season
the lesbian one is so RIGHT ON!
Ahhh..the beginning of the end for television. It inspired decades of trash reality shows.
I don’t even remember Irene.

She left early after getting married, that's probably why.
She was boring and too serious
